love,
When you kiss me
I get high like I could
touch the sky.
When you touch me
I get them butterflies.
Something about you
really turns me on.
Might be your looks,
or the way that you
talk...
But one thing's for sure,
I can't get enough of you.
I can see myself spending
the rest of my life with you.
You're driving me crazy,
I'm in need of you daily.
I'm hoping that you feel
the same, so we can make
things official between us.
Put a ring on your finger,
and become husband &
wife.
Then live our lives
in paradise.

change, happiness,
A lot of us,
forgot to live,
knowing that we must,
do whatever we can,
all to give.
Forgot about,
what was important to us,
always doubt,
what we think of,
we knew it,
wasn't love.
It's time we change,
find a way,
to arrange,
what has lay,
in our past,
needs to go away.
I say we start,
what is there to lose,
we can all,
be a part,
of what we choose.

love, heart, heart, me,
I've loved you for awhile.
I know now I can share my heart with you.
You have proved to me that I can trust you with it.
Can you help me put it back together again?
All i ask is for you to handle it with care because it is fragile.
So here it is my heart open but broken.
Ready for you love.

A love so zealous
Can defy a thousand men
But to whom shall I give my love
If no one wants, what I have to offer him
I lay awake at night
And cry a million tears
My pillow cries back at me
Because it hears my fears
At daybreak, I lay awake
Heartbroken, yet I persevere
For I will never give up on finding him
Not for a hundred years
Today, I passed a man, who gave me a wink
I think …

Just A Couplet od Lovers by JTCurtis Oct 8, 2014
As I hop upon my Metaphor
I hope I still have Rhyme
I need to make the last Quatrain
Which leaves at ten 'til nine
My Haiku's waiting for me
I Lyric her so much
That I, bought a mixed bouquet for her
Of Triolets and such
A gift wrapped Box of Canzone
I know she'll like to eat
Those Blitz', Choka, Clerihew's
Are Villanelle sweet
One day I hope to buy her
A huge Diamante ring
And List forever, in a world
That's Free Verse-ever-ing

If love was a river
I would pour you
an ocean.
If love was a planet
I would give you a
galaxy.
If love last forever
Then forever is not
enough.
When you feel
how we feel...
Love means more
to the heart.
If we love to be loved.
Then the feeling is
mutual.
A feeling incredible...
Magnificent, beautiful.

allusion, assonance, feelings, hurt, loneliness, love, metaphor,
Within the simple heartbeat prowls a spell
Which hunts a tender cage in which to dwell
To resonate its richness: share its thrall
And claw dank loneliness from chosen voids.
It is a predator, and rest assured
Creature for which we pine is just as fell
As any carnivore of which they tell:
For mercy not in repertoire at all.
It strikes in seedy club and idyll dell
And tears internal organs, hope smoke-cured,
From bloody carcases as once it buoyed
Such viscera on optimistic swell.
It’s not that beast will drag all hearts to hell;
It merely rings for “self” that last death knell.

Love is like a flower
It needs room to grow
kept in a pot of soil
to watch over, has nowhere to go
It stems become lifeless
petals scatter and no longer vibrant
A boquet it will never blom into
I wish I never met you
Can't believe I let you
Suck the life right out of me.

Sometimes I wonder were you are; were you might be.
I wonder if it is possible for you to still think about me.
I wonder if you'll love me forever, like we promised to; or if that all faded the day I lost you.
I wonder if I'll ever see you again, my husband, lover and best friend.
I wonder alot of things; but most of all, I wonder why you; why you at all.

Gluttons, paupers, tis not thee I address,
Rather ye men, middle income meager.
Dames hast thine coffers slightly beleaguered?
Garments bejeweled, appetites sated?
Vultures dine thy muscles of toils weary.
Lazy bones remain roadside, pauper's soup.
Wages earned, eggs income, gathered hen coop,
Through petty tasks, worthlessness abated.
Gentlemen, tis advice long awaited.
Find ye equal love, damsels of mind fair.
If thee seek only fair face, silky hair,
Coffers of paupers surely tis fated.
Hasten, young men, to thy ladies true worth.
For prosperity not, befell thy birth.

life, sad, pain,
i once met a young aspiring poet
whose love for the art had drove
him passionately insane with the colour silver.
i met him on a street rampage shouting out his
emancipating parable of shiny silver rings
sparkling with a deep red hue ,oddly spoiling in rust from blood thirst
and out in the clear ,in concealment of human ignorance
a sinister nemesis slowly weaves his hate into ropes,
his hands of fate to stir our minds his path.
thus the pain of the living
the pain is living .

Turkey dove
Fits like a glove
It's my one and only true love
There was once a turkey
Then I went and made some beef jerky
I then took a dove home
And named him jerome
I took the dove and the turkey and stuffed them together
I tried to make sure I plucked each and every feather
Eventually I created a new bird
It's called a turkey dove, It was unheard
I took it out once for a walk
It started to scream and tried to talk
People looked at my creation, "disgusting" they thought
I just smiled and said, "I thought it was pretty hot"

Don't hate the stars for their beauty
Don't hate the sun when it doesn't shine
Don't estimate someone's strength
Until you've seen them cry
Don't look for reasons to mourn
Look for reasons to rejoice
Instead of closing your mind
Consider each and every choice
Don't hate the sky for raining
Instead ask the clouds why they cry
Don't take the light inside yourself
Distribute it to the sky
Never hide your inner beauty
To please everyone else
Gather your pride and shine it bright
And go on loving yourself

why cant you love me like you did
maybe i have to much focus on you
maybe i am to far away from the true one i love
and dont get happy
it is not you
i should fall back in love with the one
the one that will always be there for me
will be there when i fall
will be there when i break
will be there when i just want to talk
because he will always love you
and it is not some boy that you get all raped up in
it is not anybody on earth that i can feel this way about there is only one person and
only one way

absence, crazy, lonely,
Hugging my knees as I talk to your ghost,
You rock the chair I cannot see you in.
I love you so much it tears at my soul.
I need you so bad my insides shrivel.
But you are not here when I need you most.
My whispers carried to you through the wind.
Winds push you further as I lose control.
I ache, I pain, I cry as I snivel.
I am scared I will lose grasp on your heart.
Warm blood smearing my grip where do I start?
Tell me place me wherever you want me.
Don't drop me don't leave me don't let me be.
Swim in my body live inside of me.
I tell you drown in me to save us both....
