Touch

"TOUCH" I want to touch your life and leave a mark ... ... a deep impression ... So you will think of me and of my smile ... ... my sweet expression ... I long to touch your life and leave a sign ... ... a warm inscription ... So you will care for me and keep in mind ... ... a clear description ... I need to touch your life and leave a joy ..,. ... an inspiration ... So you will love me soon in reality ... ... not imagination ...

One World

Love is not a color,
No hue, neither a race.
All of our blood is the same,
That runs deep within our veins.

If we could lift up each other,
And know that we all care.
If we help our sisters and brothers,
There's a bond that we'll share.

A Triolet For Linda

To those you care for, always you impart deep love; how beautiful and sweet you are! I pray you find a way to mend your heart. To those you care for, always you impart poetic gems! Return to this, your art. Grab hold of words and shine again, a star. To those you care for, always you impart deep love; how beautiful and sweet you are! Beautiful Mysteries

Divinity lives beyond description Alone, a weary heart cries from its pain Desire eager for its conscription Might truth and love turn this way again? Sweet mysteries, this life, in dreams of thee Yield fantasy's passion I dare to share Walk from this muse, I pray to live in me Conceding this, my love, unto your care On lifeless shadows, cast your glowing light Bring a blessed presence to this peace I seek Rest too this solemn shade, this endless night With angelic verse, but you could only speak For seeking dreams to dream from up above I cast my will and fate to seek your love

The Treasure of Birth

It's hard to describe
that true sense of pride

that comes with the worth
of your babies birth

A child takes your heart
right from the start

and wills you to sow
a love destined to grow

From dress ups to cupcakes
from boo-boos to heartbreaks

it's all worth the pain
from the treasure we gain

Time spent together
can only be measured

in memories we hold
as part of our soul

God keep this life
from turmoil and strife

give it love and care
and blessings to share

For all that we ask
is that we're up to the task

and do all that we must
to honor your trust.

Flowers of the Heart

The garden of love bids tending
so often it pains us to render its due
when drought offers threat
and water is scarce
and lovers forget what it means to be true

Yet love, like a garden, rewards us
the flowers of the heart are worth all the pain
how else can we reap
that beautiful yield
with little to lose and with so much to gain

When I think of where we first started
with just the horizon to capture our view
my eyes now behold
what a garden can be
with effort and love to carry it through

Remember To Mind Your Reason

In the darkest of times
be the light of a candle
but the harshest of crimes
to let melt your candle

***
Give, unmindful of a reason
feel the heavy burden light
remember to mind your reason
fill your very soul with Light

***
Like a delicate dove
bathe into sweet waters well
feed on the seeds of Love
reach not the bottom of its well.

Gentle Summer Rain

She writes about Fall's beauty in the rain
The falling raindrops' dance ascribing thence
Bespoken verse that lightens her refrain
before the time they met - her steps commence.

She listens to the soft and rhythmic thrum,
her love turned to escape and cloudy string
Where nimbus mistletoe fell, tears to become
Their kiss of Autumn was symbolic ring.

The first light cotton mists with summer rays
While skyward cheerful laughs adorn the land,
their ceremonial dance diffuses grays,
affectionate embrace, where dreams expand.

Upon September's sky the raindrops gleam
With half of hidden Sun to laugh and beam.

What Is Love

What is Love

Trust - unconditionally in that someone special.
Faith - and devotion through divine destiny.
Contentment - in knowing love is equally reciprocated.
Soul connection - that tethers a couple together forever.

Wrap Me In Your Comfort

Wrap me in your comfort Let me melt inside your eyes Kiss away my salty tears Embrace me where you lie Undress me with your passion Sooth me with your song Tease me with your tenderness Drive me crazy all night long Be my pillow when I need one Blanket me with your loving care Cradle me in your arms of satin Be the answer to my prayer

Held Upon a Moonbeam Sighs

Visions of a way forward
raising the curtains dream magic
stepping into the spotlight view
captivating under a harvest moon

Rocked in the cradle of thoughts
your the flower sweetly awakening
deeply flames warmly embrace sunshine beams
growing beautiful rose petals tenderly touch deeply

When I trace your heart's echo
kissing this soul softly within dewdrops
weeping starlight tears of a breathless sigh
where the sunbeams dance with brilliance

Golden inside your rays honey
deliciously lights up priceless perfect
holding the breath for a moment love
our time shining purely unique sharing

My Love Is Real

Mist fills the morning with freshened air
Yellow fields smile past the distant shore

Lullabies play a gentle tune
Offer hope of what's coming true
Velvet kisses in the month of June
Every touch my heart doth swoon

In winds of care I blow free
Sending signals of my love for thee

Reaching out for you and holding tight
Each and every unguarded night
Allow my arms to be a comfort place
Left open for you with a warm embrace

From Young To Old

The story of life from young to old is the same old story told over and over.
We start out and end in diapers.
We start out and end with no teeth.
We start out and end eating soft foods we do not like the taste of.
We start out and end falling down.
We start out and end needing care.
We start out and end crying day and night.
We start out with nothing and end taking nothing with us.
We only have the precious time between young and old to live a life of love to others.
The story of life is the story we leave behind.

Is the Lord Just a Scarecrow

Is the Lord just a scarecrow
     watching over my fields

Is He no more than a guard dog
     springing from his heels

Nay the Lord is my shepherd
     I am His treasure

With love He watches over me
     Tenderly guards my family

Not Just People

It's just not the same
darkness swirls
but there's no light
no will left to fight

I miss you
and your semblance of right

So, I send my love out in the breeze
take it, take me, if you please

True Warmth

Please don't mistake a smile for warmth, it's not
Behind the surgeon's smile sure lurks a knife
That pal at work you hang out with a lot
Will cut your heart out, ruin your very life

When young, we think we have a million friends
We laugh, we play, we think that life is great
Though really they pursue their selfish ends
So easy for their love to turn to hate

True warmth won't turn you out in winter's cold
It cooks a hearty meal for you at night
It also will take care of you when old
It sympathizes with your every plight

Look past that smile, my friend, and see the heart
~ The best advice to you I can impart

When I'm gone

Meet in Eden's garden, where life first gave birth. A beautiful paradise, pure and serene. Amidst verdant petals, not seen on this Earth, flowing in rainbow hues on lush lawns of green. Like Adam and Eve, we'll roam in jasmine air, adrift in nature's splendour without a care. Sing lullabies with angels, as we hold hands. Watch fluorescent sunsets in eternal lands.

Angel Love

Angel Love

There is a rose named angel face,
In lavender she blooms with grace.
When I admire her sweet splendor
I recall your love so tender

Keeping watchful eyes over me,
And answering with love my plea
For your help, when I am in need,
Contrasting miracles indeed!

Though unseen, I feel your presence
In aura of Divine essence.
My soul yearns to meet you in kind
So grateful you can read my mind;

Lift my burdens, leave shoulders bare,
I could not live without your care.
What a blessing you are to me!
You have my love eternally.

Nihilist

Farcical, extravagant
My birthmark is a scar
A speckled blotch ...
A spot of pox
An icon from afar

I'm an upstart, I'm an eyesore
Ranting with a flair
In a tempest, I'm a rabid bird
Setting fire to the air

As dauntless as a hellhag
Unmoved by love or care
I can hold up in a cyclone
Feasting on your fear

I'm your last hope
As a laughingstock
I'm your courage in a dare
As audacious as a terrorist
With death-defying hair

When it's time to play the tragic fool
I'm as flagrant as a glare
Seething with a vengeance
In a tantrum of despair

- Listen To Your Heart -

Between the clouds ...
It's called gut feeling for a reason
You made me believe in miracles

Between the clouds ...
One of the most profound need for a
human being is to love and be loved

Between the clouds ...
I will always walk by your side
The future is written in our hearts

Between the clouds ...
Beauty will never shed a tear or hate
Love is beauty blended with lights of the evening sun

Between the clouds ...
Our love is sent from above with angel wings
We'll never have to wonder ..... the sky is always blue

A Wind That Blows Loneliness

The wind blows softly over the lonely,
The suffering think of themselves only.
A world of chaos, racism, and turmoil,
Utmost egomanias spoil our toil.

An old man groans, no decent place to live,
Are there relatives? No comfort to give?
Blow softly oh lonely wind, they care not,
They are comfortable, and all forgot.

Somewhere a child is crying his heart out,
Can anyone guess what it's all about?
Is the child hungry, lost, or cast aside?
Much abused, ill-treated, or love denied?

There are millions of cries heard on the wind,
Alas no one bothers: is man unkind?

You Are My All

When on life’s seas I’m tempest tossed,
And my hopeful smile is all but lost,
When I need to survive at any cost,
You are my anchor.

My life is filled with simple pleasures,
My loved ones’ smiles I count as treasures,
When kisses are how life is measured,
You are the standard.

As time soars on and birthdays fly,
My hair is graying, I don’t care why,
My mind is sharp, but not my eyes,
You are my youth.

Love is patient, love is kind,
And to the lucky, love is blind,
But when it comes to love that binds,
You are my love.

- Who Are You -

Fascinating small and large things in life
A dancing feeling in your stomach
Independence and freedom
Positive resonated in the air

Friendship and community means to stand together
about the important things in life
That's about being present where we are

    Caring
    Humility
    Respect
    Happiness
    Time

Material benefits provide momentary happiness
Goals, ambitions and dreams ... small or large
Love can be silent and beautiful
With wonder and in deep thought
A magical moment ... who are you ?
