beauty,
the chickadee tweets
I eat my breakfast
without an egg
wings flutter
upon melting icicles
first glimpse of Spring
Grandma's garden
a missing rose lay
on her stone
Incense wafts
amongst the silent crowd
a sneeze out loud
longing
another Spring blooms
without you
Happy Easter to you and yours with love -Charma

snow, winter,
White blanket covers everything,
A cardinal croons above,
Hibernation is in full swing,
As God sends His snow-kissed love,
Arctic foxes seen in our yards,
Snowy owls stare with their eyes,
Chipmunks over acorns stand guards,
As chickadee coos and cries,
Outside, a blizzard is blowing,
Hungry, a snow leopard roams,
Frosted winter life is slowing,
While we're snug inside our homes.

My peripatetic parrot went to sea
where he met a perspicacious chickadee
He courted her a bit too parsimoniously
For this peccadillo, she ensured he couldn't pee

10th grade, 11th grade, 12th grade,
As you may guess, my heart must ask for this for I like being free.
Call forth your best effort to bask in my truth if you love me.
Haul your doubts out of the flask, and stop smiling with glee.
Maul negativity to complete the task, do not be Simon Legree.
Caul was attached to my mask at birth, which helps me to see
Hall of horrors in your present cask, so toss it, drunken chickadee.
Squall of wrath tipping your casque, so now I will promptly flee.
