Magical moonbeams Sparkling like silver On an inky sea I watch them dancing Captivatingly Bright mystic moon Shining each night Waxes and wanes Controlling tides Silver orb Shines above constantly I love A clear Night Contest diminished hexaverse Sponsored by Charles Messina 1/21/19

STOP! I said, STOP NOW!
Turn facing the wall
Lift your skirt slowly
Take off your panties
Throw them behind you

Don't turn around.
Now, close your eyes.
Relax for me.
I'm touching you.

Babe, I'm
trying to
spice our

marriage
I LOVE

You

Young Love

* Oxytocin pours: illusion of heart is it real or not how long will it last perhaps forever? susceptible to anguish now likely to hurt; his heart frozen dare she leave dare she stay dare she love one thing matters: hope

Hope

Anticipation
While culture strengthens
In love of poetry,
In give and to take
An exchange of view.

While together
A common cause,
We work so hard
To understand.

In this way
Unified
A small task.

Chipping
Away.

Hate.

Hope

Desire of the flesh
The need of closeness
Sensing the goodness
Of engulfing hope
That emulates there

Hope an ideal
Inspiration
Of mind and soul
Needing you near

The touch says
Here is love
Love brings hope

Give thanks
Kneel, pray

Raven's Watch

She's always there, watching
Over the quiet graves
Torn between life and death
Waiting 'till her time ends
When at last, she can be
Reunited with him

Without his strong arms
She falters and fails
Ne'er to love again
Her gentle heart is
Smashed beyond repair

She is the one
They call Raven
Soulless, helpless
Without his love

She stands and
Forever
Looks over

Where they
Buried

Him

Breathless

Caught in lust's whirlpool -
pretzel entwined limbs
edge me into your
carnal cavity
whilst you taste thine's flesh.

Nail-induced scars
tattoo my back
as wanton yips
pervade night air.

Moon Dust

Once upon a time my mother read me tales of princesses who joined with their prince - fairy tale romance. Wishing on stars, I hoped my prince was out there too. He hung the moon. What magic when life held such promise! I was spurred by . . . dreams. Love! It filled my mind. A young girl, I asked for just the moon! I longed for it. I searched for it. How elusive it seemed to be. Once found, it often disintegrated quickly, for it was - after all - simply the moon dust of dreams. Causeway of Hope

Neptune grant me leave
To build a causeway
Across your waters
A barrier reef
To connect two souls

Thor's hammer strong
Will smite these rocks
No mountain chain
Will I endure

Until I
Hold you close
And can kiss

The tears
From your

Child

From her womb...come birth
A child...a new life
His first sound...a cry
His first sight.... his mom
His first feel...mom's arms

His breath...so soft
Small toes...wee feet
His nose...so cute
His ears, he hears...

Love you, son
Lift your eyes
See the light

Come ere
To life

Gods Springboard

Verdant green unfolds.
     Buds that star my eyes.
         Wings around me sing.
            I crave Spring’s tweeting.
                Its flow’ry sweeting.

                     Springs daffodils,
                           black-eyed susans,
                                painted roses,
                            plumerias.

                           Vivid hues —
                       merciful,
              kindhearted,

        invoke...
   inspire...

love.

Leading Me Away

Hollow red brick walls
surrounding open fences.
Lost corridors to home
covering trenches.

A journey of
the mind Leading
me far away
from life & out
of existence.

Someday to
arrive &
Understand
 why

Hearts cry,
souls die
trying
todefine
a love
twisted.

Spring Love

A fervent fairy
In romantic dream
Holds a watering
Can, flitting over
Her daisy sweetheart.

Morning sunlight
Obscure bee whirs,
Round fair-haired face
Tease twinkle toes.

Mice clamor,
Hedgehog rolls
Heather blooms.

Weaving
Spider

Hides.

If I Die Today

If I die today
Let me leave one thing
In my loved ones’ hearts
She had character
Love was her mantra

Integrity
Stood up often
Stood up alone
Always stood up

Advocated
Character
Truthfulness

Spring Blessings

Caressing the dark, warm earth
Like prayers for contentment
Sunlight whispers beyond the
Emerald stems and branches
Making a scene as it falls
In rich, vibrant mixtures of
Pale buttery yellow, gold

Heaven whispers delight
As songbirds shudder, shake
With notes so alive there’s
No doubt life has begun
Where lone hints of decay
Stay beneath undergrowth

Laughing colors, crisp
Clean and comforting
Sprout from underneath
Gentle petals, life
New birth of blossoms

Whispers of love
Twinkle on moon
Stars flickering
Sending fresh joy

Butterflies
Race about
Brushing hearts

Blessings
Reach down

Spring

As I remember
some other Christmas,
tonight frosted lips
ache for us by the
hearth, where you still melt

What Mom’s Got Going On

Mom in her apron
to the kitchen goes;
I watch her get out
ingredients that
she puts into rows.

Bubbling in me
is a child’s glee;
no meagerness
of eagerness!

The oven
door opens
and closes.

Love the
smell of

Pies!
