A Warrior For Love

I'm a Warrior

Don't bleed of fear

Armed and ready for battle

Anytime Anywhere

Don't look for trouble

But if trouble be

Skies of lightning and thunder

Strike my enemies

Am a Warrior

No one's too Big

To be cut down and defeated

By Grace of GOD they will

I'm the Warrior

Its win, Win or Die

Stand up for LOVE be not afraid...

Raise Swords up high

Peace Comes To the Valley

The sun a golden glow
The wind began to blow
Rain a blessing for all
Summer changed into fall

Seeing the moon was blue
The change would come we knew
Trees will gently mellow
Their leaves turning yellow

Enemies will unite
No longer will they fight
Tom will marry Sally
Peace comes to the valley

What If Potd

WHAT IF….. What if we saw… Beauty, in this world, not ugliness. What if we heard… Not propoganda but truth! What if we felt… Love for all humanity… What if… We really loved this world? What if we trusted… Not seeing many, as enemies? What if love replaced fear…. Tell me…what would the world be like? 12/27/2022

Enemies We Were Never Born

No, my loving friend,

Enemies we were never born but we were made

By all those evil men who had the most to gain

Thus I implore you ready to be each other to embrace

Forgetting to which religion we belong and to what race!

Lost in Love

I search,
Am I a lost cause?
I speak to all, to friends
To enemies.
Where can she be?
My love is nowhere to be found.
I search for her daintiness,
Her dark black fringe,
Her lithe contours so marvellous.
Her red full lips.

Am I pursuing a foolish dream?
A glimpse.
That’s all I ask.
I will be in paradise.

Tell her it was just a random remark.
I love her till the end of times.
And I wander around the main streets,
Searching,
Searching.
I am not much I know,
But I need her.
I saw a glimpse of her.
She smiled.
But it could not be her!
Her hair was red.
Could she have played a trick on me?
I only see red now.

- the Soup Cuckoo -

Jealousy is not the fear of losing
but the feeling that our position is threatened
As wet sand between your toes, unwanted

Sometimes jealousy turns into obsession
There are many wars, love your enemies ... never
We fight for love as a tender and small sparrow
Bitter taste, there is a fly in the soup

Jungle Love

Your sweet nectar
wraps around my senses
like jungle vines
steady drums beating
Your heart near mine

Your strong hands
hold me suspended
by my waist
Just enough pain and strength
against my supple skin
For my taste

The musk of your
sculpted body and the forest
has me going wild
But yet, the tender way you
protect me, reminds me of
Being a child

A safe familiarity
with a strain of animalistic
seduction
Your invisible hold over me
leaves me arrow poisoned
Unable to function

My long dark hair wraps you
with smells of coconut and ocean Sun
your locks full of mud and enemies
Blood
together, my warrior
We make One

Wild Tuna

why is it easier to look at you
through one eye as opposed to two
when we should be totally
enamored with the thought
that we have come this far
we of flesh and blood, but enemies of spirit
cannot go on this way

a desert of parched emotions
cherry wood furniture atop marble floors
transformed our home into
an oasis of tears and coffee

this trivial mirage under scathing sun light
left us grappling for sustenance
be it water or be it love

empathy should be our cry
we stood hand in hand me and you
now with grey hair for a crown
these life stories on our face
we joust over flashbacks
and weakened rungs

* On the Horizon

Out on the horizon dances the animals,
free from their bondage that held them once.
They are hidden well you must look hard to see
them through the brush, grass, and the trees.
Enemies, prey for others to eat they were once but,
but now they all are dancing free out on the horizon.

Heaven must be like.)

We Two Aged Friends

We two aged friends were caught today, By shared glance. Words I could not say entranced. Not you, new friends looked on, As old friends spoke. The grey false dawn Broke thoughts while round us sunset played Once enemies trapped in the fray, Alike, but souls between us lay, When we our disparate colours donned. We two aged friends. Freed, parted, only you could pray Cold comfort: if we’d met halfway Then emptiness would be foregone, Time would let quarrels be withdrawn. You loved not, yet this eve you stayed. We two aged friends.

Faith

BY FAITH I WAS BORN
BY FAITH IM NOT ALONE
BY FAITH MY SOUL
IS NOT IN HELL
CAN'T YOU TELL ENEMIES
THRE DRIPPING BLOOD
OF JESUS CONTINUES
TO KEEP ME SAFE
WHILE YOU'RE STILL TRYIN
TO TREAT ME LIKE A SLAVE
HERE IN NYC
MY FAITH CONTINUES TO
MOVE THE'YOU CAN'T"
MOUNTAINS
GOD'S SUPERNATURAL
LOVE CONTINUES COVER ME
IN EVERY VALLEY
TUGH THAT LINE IS
FOR EVERYONE WHO
HATES ME
BECAUSE YOU HATE
MY FAITH IN CHRIST
YOU SEEM TO KEEP
PLOTTING INJUSTICE
THAT JUST ISN'T RIGHT
BUT BY FAITH I'M
ON THE WINNING SIDE
BY FAITH I WILL NEVER
LET YOU ENEMIES
REMOVE MY GODLY PRIDE

Peace - the Noblest Goal To Work For

Peace is not just the absence of war
Peace is the noblest goal to work for

Peace between mother and father, sister and brother
Peace between friends and strangers, and all the others

                 ***********
Consider Aaron, the High Priest of Old
Who brought enemies together, so bold

To love peace, to pursue it, was Aaron's creed
Love of his fellow man, his greatest deed

He was Moses' older brother, yet humble, down-to-earth
His burning quest for peace the measure of his worth

               *************
Peace needs step aside for Truth, some say
I say, True Peace ~ for Truth lights the way

Your Love Made the Difference

Jesus, Your love changed me
Your love made the difference
You loving me changed me
I’m not the same
I’ve been changed
I’m a new person
Changed from the inside out
Jesus, Your love changed me
Your love made the difference
You loving me changed me
I can pray for my enemies
I can turn the other cheek
Jesus, Your love changed me
Your love made the difference
You loving me changed me
I can love, love unconditionally
I can bless those who curse me
Although not always easy, I can do it
Yes, I can do it
Jesus, Your love changed me
Your love made the difference
You loving me changed me
Changed me from the inside out

The Alchemist

THE ALCHEMIST (IV)

Silence and words can be both lovers and enemies
but they are always mutually dependent upon one
another; one cannot exist without the other.

It is the poet who is alchemist sending off
his well-weighted words in search of the prize,
the Philosopher’s Stone that will transform them

into the gold to be joyfully received by his beloved,
hyacinths on the breeze, wine for our date,
first light of dawn and the dream ends.

Take comfort from the silence and learn presence
from the words, there is no space between..

Cast your best spell White Feather, to woo the butterfly
to your garden and the sweetest nectar.

Togetherness

07.06.2009

Togetherness

You know not a word of my language
I know not a letter of yours
We lay somewhere in a dark corner
Passing on –
Passing on warmth.
You know not my friends or my enemies
I know not your joy or your grief
We lay somewhere clearly forgotten
Passing on –
Passing on peace.

You know not how to cause me pain
I know not how to hurt your pride
We lay somewhere, and plan to go nowhere -
Keep passing on –
Passing on life.
We know not tomorrow’s direction
We know not the days that will last
We lay somewhere, and there’s nothing happening -
We lay somewhere where there is
Just us…

That Was My Sin

It was to love deeply and unconditionally
It was not to compromise my well being
It was to regard any human being with fairness and equality

Never judge a book by its cover
Never make a promise you cannot keep
Never underestimate your enemies
Never anticipate your heart desires

It was to stand up for those I cherished
It was to fight for what I believed in
It was to embrace my humanity

I Don'T Know

I Don’t know
that God has favorites
or enemies…
probably just behavior
he loves or deplores--
then again, who am I
to put limits on God?
For those who love Him
swear He is a personal God;
and those who are estranged
seem to have a hell-of-a-time
to compare--
and, of course, there is the Atheist
who stands alone in himself
while I could not live alive
without experience of spirit:
sort of like, eating only the skin
of an orange--or seeing the surface
of a great sea, unaware of the
myriad world within….

Almost At the Bottom of It

A friend of a friend is never a friend,
Enemies seem to follow you,
down that dead end.

What’s real?
Love is never pretend,
Well…..love used to be real before text and send.

Love is lust and lust is….trust.
Trust is just love without the fights and fuss.
Is that real? Depends on who’s asking?
Who’s want loves without the passion?

Imagine if love left trust at the alter?
Left love without a father,
And never was there to teach them trust?

Then it’s tough luck,
Dawn to dawn, dusk to dusk.
Without a meaning,
Caught inside a constant state asking what?

I thought you knew?

Oh'Lord Teach Me-

Oh! Lord teach me
Show me thy ways
Teach me the ways
Show me how to love mine enemies;
And lift up those burdens I inspired;
Heal me, God...

Lead me by your truth
 and teach me,
for you are the God

Oh! Lord teach me
Show me thy ways
Teach me the ways

Lead me by your truth
 and teach me,
for you are the God
He who saves me. All-day long

I put my hope in you thank you God Hallelujah

Game of Thrones

Lovers then we became strangers
now full blown adversaries
enemies
gladiators armored for destruction.
This is no longer a relationship
it is a ruthless affair
a house of cards
kill zone
minefield 101.
Words sharp than machetes
actions colder than waterboarding
we massacred us
we are locked up in solitary confinement
you the king of North
and this Nubian Monarchy is mine.
To the last Iron and Crown standing
its game on!

When You Can'T Sleep

I have a secret that is very simple.
I’ll share it with you if I may.
When you can’t sleep,
Don’t count sheep.
Pray...

Pray for those you love,
And those who don’t love you.
Pray for your friends,
And for your enemies too.

Pray for your family-
All of them, not just one or two.
Pray for everyone who is sick, hurting, or lost.
And when you feel you are through,
Pray for you.

Beware the Diabolical Biological Drill

What demons lurk in government leaders?
Our lives like toys to play and discard?
Hearts frozen in fear
Snakes coiled to strike
Gas or virus, from enemies within

You may overcome us, sicken and slay
But remember the 3%, from
Revolutionary days!

I stand with my brothers, to the last man
Hell hath no fury
Like an American band!

Rock from the streetcorners!
Resistence is strong!
Gabriel's horn section
Angels sing along!

Through smoke and the tears
God fights at our side
His grace will sustain us
His love will survive!

Now join with me brothers
Sisters come too!
You won't want to miss
This concerts for you!
