To Touch the Untouched

She is soothing music, but an unwritten script. A silent movie, but visually, cinematic elegance. Infatuated lyrics thirst to compose onto tones of her curves. Her tongue is a sensual dance, a serenade of sensitive sensations. Her lips a path to pristine passion, her eyes a gateway to heaven. But she is grandeur of purity, a distinction of innocence. Fate must learn patience, in the pursuit of desire.

Homeless Mans Love For His Daughter

A homeless man played his guitar,
for coin rewards put in a jar.
A lonely life he always led,
but in his heart a love he had.
This love he thought of all the time,
during the cold days brought sunshine.
His songs were of a girl he loved,
he sang to her, with stars above.
So many years had gone on by,
but in his heart, and reasons why.
There was this hope that would not die,
the thought of her just made him cry.

Dedicated to my
daughter Ashley...

Hope, a Little Remained

Hope, A Little Remained

She walked the creaking floors of the rat-infested room,
trying to remember what tragedy had sent her to this shabby place.
Her heart felt the desperate pains, that lost love sends in aching waves,
praying her sleeping infant does not wake and cry out from its feverish thirst.

He paced the cold cell, languishing in deep misery, heart shattered,
each step an eternity echoing curses, a testament to his broken pride.
Although thousands of miles apart, he felt her loss, never-ending sorrows,
dawn would come, priest would take his last confession, yet Hope remained.

Beautiful Mysteries

Divinity lives beyond description Alone, a weary heart cries from its pain Desire eager for its conscription Might truth and love turn this way again? Sweet mysteries, this life, in dreams of thee Yield fantasy's passion I dare to share Walk from this muse, I pray to live in me Conceding this, my love, unto your care On lifeless shadows, cast your glowing light Bring a blessed presence to this peace I seek Rest too this solemn shade, this endless night With angelic verse, but you could only speak For seeking dreams to dream from up above I cast my will and fate to seek your love

Soft Is the Sea-Sand Promises

Along the feathered edge, a red sun-sets
To bind the evening in dreams eyes explore
Two hearts will greet, till' paradise begets
Love leaves impressions as waves swirl to shore
These caps of white will churn warmly the sand
The world will pass, the change of light is missed
Lonely eyes search for their yearning dreamland
When lips taste fire in a hungry kiss
As night arrives to shelter silhouettes
Soft is the sea to these two souls afar
In a twilight's pulse when the tide resets
And hands hold tight to await the Daystar
The fate of these lovers sealed in evermore
Tomorrow's memory from the seashore

Fate and Destiny

How mischievous those goddesses of fate
That bend our paths toward our destiny
They tempt us, setting traps, with diff'rent bait
Like fools, we complicate simplicity

Each turn we take is draped in mystery
A lucky choice builds up our confidence
Then fate reminds us, oh so subtly
Again, we're on the wrong side of the fence

The twists and turns of life offer suspense
We see our big break up around the bend
But fate knows that for love, there's no defense
Next thing you know, you've turned down a dead end

Fate has control of destiny it seems
Don't let that stop you chasing down your dreams

Friendship

You said age's only a number, beauty's skin deep
Wise words to live by, now if I could only sleep
Humor never can be taken away, have no regrets
Live like there's no tomorrow, an elephant never forgets

Since the day we met, things have been so right
Thankful for our meeting, making spirits bright
No more feeling lonely, no more feeling stressed
Friendships have started, I am feeling blessed

Not a day has passed without a smile on my face
Feeling happy has now become commonplace
Brought together by chance or was it by fate
Any way you put it, my friend, you are truly great

Living Hell

Damned by the devil's curse upon my heart
I pace the lonely bridge twixt love and hate
Stalked by death's shadow from the very start
Forsaken by the guiding hand of fate

My restless soul sleeps in the tangled thorns
Nursed by the acrid milk of bitter weed
Tormented nightly by old lovers scorned
And haunted by a score of sinful deeds

Pray, take me now to storm the gates of hell
Confront the wicked one and question why
Twas reason for my birth under his spell
To live a loveless life until I die

I curse this lonely life given to me
The fire of hell is all t'will set me free

Winter's Gateway

November, as the poets say -
autumn's demise, winter's gateway.
Its shortened days and longer nights
descending, death is in her sights:
leaves fall, as is their yearly fate,
while beasts prepare to hibernate.

November, as my lady lies
so silent, moving not her eyes -
with ashen skin, lips cold as death,
I wait in vain to feel her breath.
Her soul immortal, this I know,
yet in this life I'll grieve her so.

Forbidden Freedom, first ever Collaboration with the Silent One

If "we" are a sin,
Why is my heart bleeding for you?
Why is my soul screaming out your name?

Chained by the links of horrors that hold me against you,
Towered high up above the ground,
Little did they know I'd crumble every bone just for you.
I would not wish such adversity upon my adversaries, such as the animosity which chastises our hearts.

Every precious petal in my garden has turned black, waiting for your lips to rejuvenate their vibrant hues.

Why must love be cursed by society's blindness,
or has Cupid's ignorance plagued our forbidden fate. Maybe death is the only freedom for our devotion

Bit of Truth and Wisdom, Found In Old Age

Bit Of Truth And Wisdom, Found In Old Age

At that age wisdom says life is a joke
consider blindness of other poor folk.
Stop to ponder why on earth we exist
you may just find giving on that big list.

To live well, love hard and thus procreate
easy to see easier to relate.
Living life together with your soulmate
should be a part of everybody's Fate!

Finding life is not about what you got
should be holding solid, number one spot
Tis more about life lived well and deeper
with one you found, knew to be a keeper

If long life, happiness is your great aim
if reaching not for it, you are to blame!

A Lovers Kiss

A wordless song drifts from your eyes
with rhyme disguised in poems lost
from heavens smile your heart replies
assuming risk, no fear the cost

You dare not weep to dampen dreams
but pledge to take this hand of chance
no less from love this passion streams
in turn of fate not circumstance

Left breathless from a lovers kiss
this treasure found its place in time
a pleasure true, no more than this
     not once rehearsed in pantomime

Within each heart pure beauty lives
When fancies flight is there to give

Fortunes of My Tears

I see the future
in the constellation of my crystal tears
as you siphon the sparkle off what’s left of my joy.

Heavy is my heart where you spread your composting ego
sacrificing my fire.

Your unwillingness
to ascend from darkness
on wings of breath and light
is not lost on me..

as you strut your fan of peacock plumes
snuffing out any hope
for my flickery flame.

The Topic of Cancer

God, so cruel a plague upon me,
dreams crushed, forsaken,
even as I hopefully step
where the sun leaves me to smile
for those brief but celebrated
        moments.

Through tear blurred windows
dear hearts that suffer more than I
can despise their suffering -
much more than my own sad fate.
I'm called brave but it is they
who smile through pain,
struggle for the right words.

They need not speak.
How lucky I have been
no matter my end
to have known such love.

Paper Plane

Since you left, I've been unable to dream, thrashing about in tangled sheets all night. I fold paper planes, odd as that may seem, preparing the night's fledgling fears for flight. I believed we'd be together till death, and yet, you left me all alone and scared. Without you, I've no reason to draw breath; what kept me going was thinking you cared. I scribble down my anguish and my pain, describing how your leaving has hurt me. And fold the page into a paper plane, hoping the hand of fate sets my heart free. I await a breeze to launch my letter; for once my plane takes flight, I'll sleep better.

Celeste Romance

I gaze at those fireflies in
your butter-sweet eyes that shine,
succulent with white lush pulp
of love's purity,

you hue my wildflower heart
with hyacinth, as we twirl
like spring-shaded tulips in
life's regal-black psalms;

mon cherie, I wish for stars
to sequin your shimmering
wine soul and cradle comets
of faith in your fate,

as, rubies glazed with honeyed
hibiscus and nectarine
daisies will be my pink muse,
forevermore true;

afterlife shall foretell our
lavender soliloquy
of celeste romance, whipped in
soft beige affection,

and your coral spirit will
eternally emphasise
cherry letters as tokens
of swan-shaped twin flames.

Lost My Song

When in this life I felt down
You were the one that was around

Maybe it was the way you held my hand
I knew in my heart you would understand

I miss the way we used to sit and talk
The times we didn't look at the clock

The way you walked in those tight jeans
Made me want to pull my skin and scream

I remember trembling at your touch
I love and loved you so very much

I am lost inside now you're gone
Baby you are still my life's song

When I look to the night sky, I tear
I miss you and wish you were here

Bittersweet Memories

Those memories of her, now bittersweet
Recalling tender moments that we shared
Young lovers' dreams which time can not defeat
Is proof down deep inside how much I cared

My pining heart still yearns for yesterday
To taste those honey kisses once again
Her dark brown eyes that always seemed to say
The love she had for me would never end

But that is where my recollection fades
As fate stepped in and steered her love away
The passing years created such a haze
What caused our love to die has now decayed

I wonder if she ever thinks of me
With fondness, like my treasured memories

Soulmate

If you were to come to me Wow
In sight unseen before now
No longer just a vision of your smile

I would want to walk right up and
 wrap my arms around you

Sigh and say ....
"Finally my life is complete"
I prayed that before heaven
      we would meet

" I've Always Loved You
    my precious soulmate"
You are my fate...

Oh your lips look so sweet
then you would sweep me off of my feet.

Hope Is My Anchor

Hope is the anchor that secures my soul
Needed for endurance as the Bible foretold
One of three qualities, along with faith and love
I am filled with hope to honor my Holy Father above

Hope in God's promises lightens my heavy load
It's instilled in me when I venture down a dark road
Hope has power to keep me moving in the right direction
And there I will find the mercy and love of God's protection

Hope is a means of trusting in what will be
Faith in the unseen; that is what hope means to me
Life without it fences me inside a brick wall without a gate
I believe in the Word of God; I do not adhere to destiny or fate

To An Angel Treasured Inside Love

Shining brightly flashes of white light
into spectral colours sparkle inwardly

Atoms arranged within a crystal structure domed
a gemstone takes shape measured from the clarity of beauty

Within diamond ultraviolet wavelengths transmit visible
jewel jubilantly crowned regally royal gift

Love Never Ends

I wept upon the news deployed
For now within, exists a void
My heart has stopped, it’s turned about
For life with love is now without
Now cast away, the physical form
I await the fate, to be reborn

To one day greet you there, again
The Gates of Heaven then let us in
Hand in hand, we move ahead
As souls permit, though bodies’ dead
A smile to you I then will give
For past our deaths, I know we’ll live

Hall Pass

Had a room been open in that passageway
as a foreign night-ship, you’d have sailed by
Love would’ve been what? I couldn’t say
Life: an inveterate humid ply____________

Perhaps has passed with its pernicious waves
Acceptance rising like ocean’s eustacy
Sometimes, perfunctory was a skin-cut shave
So much more, was propitious ecstasy~~~~~

Parts of us shall never be contrite
As connoisseurs of our own fate, we played
Rage now mostly contrived in dying spite
though candid caustic thoughts can still prey…

Passion!
Our ultimate perfidy
Passion!
We should've kept astute custody.

Silently Mourning

It's been too long

I'm not going to make it

Much too long

I'm so numb I can't fake it

Will I see you again

Or hear your voice

Calling my name

It's been too long

I've been thinking about you

Much too long

Dreaming of things we would do

Is it my fate to live

Silently mourning

The dread of a heart

It's been too long

Will I ever spread broken wings

Much too long

Even Winter must turn to Spring

I'll never feel the touch of your lips

Never will I hold you

In the arms of a kiss

It's been too long....

Much too long...

Silently Mourning...
