Champagne Cravings and Saffron Spice

In evening eyes an ember’s gleam I see
emotions ripple from your depths and spread
across your surface known to be glassy
are ripened waves of passion crashing red

Now crocus of your crave in bloom and flare
on bed of saffron petals - spice we seize
in festival of lust on my skin bare
a thousand tingles mingle pleasures tease

Your lips brush mine with strawberry caress
then kiss me deep your tongue unties my lace
I open up to you and your finesse
we toast with our champagne in love’s embrace

As ravishment reflects epiphany
amour I see through rosy tiffany

Black Flowers Bloom

Skies so grey
Heart so blue
Flowers of the past come to bloom
Love has kissed the stems
Pain has poisoned the blooms
The flowers are black as death itself
They speak to no one
Living in a veiled garden of darkness
Shrouded in mourning
Lingering for autumns death to devour them
Flowers in waiting
Clouds dance in anticipation
The coliseum of life has another festival
Of the slaughtered flowers
Crushed back to dust
The stars above
Stare down in silence
Knowing their fate is sealed
In a billion years or so
Death shall devour them too

It's Over:

Blow out your wind swept mind,
Your heart is a festival of times,
Come closer, if you don't decline,
You just don't know what you'll find.

I told you I loved you, but I lied,
Amongst other things I would say to you,
Just to keep you happy
I gave you a ring.
Thirteen years later you were standing at the door,
But I wouldn't open it like I did before.
Started sleeping in separate rooms,
Honey, this ain't love, this is war.

The Greek Festival

~~~~~OPA~~~~~
This is the happiest day of my year!
At Saint Basil's Festival, in my heart.
You would see fireworks and hear the cheers.
Nothing can keep me from this Festival apart.
It's the kindness of Greeks, so sparkly of heart.
It's my home on this earth.
So though I will be not online this morning~
You , who support me, are going with me, no warning.
Of Greek pastries and food you will sup,
And even Retsina.. drink up, drink up.
Ah, the Frappes and music divine.
A few Greek circle dances, you will feel more than divine!
Love,
Ghazal For You, My Reader
I hold the rainbow and an arrow, for you, my reader;
The thrill of good  tomorrow for you, my reader;
The butterfly of happiness will fly from our book
To find a reason and a certitude, for you, my reader;
You don`t remember this verse I took
In the hand of light, for you, my reader
It was at very beginning a word, for you, my reader
And wonders made by Lord, for you, my reader
Temptation of good , to see the truth ,this festival
of hope with favorable look, for you, my reader
And here, YOUR NAME I put, while writing a Ghazal:
A nosegay of perfumes, a tender touch for you, my reader
Diwali
DIWALI-THE FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS
 Divine and joyful
Indian Festival of lights,
Which unites
All religions.People
Light lamps to attain
Inner peace
They light up
Homes and cities,
Exchange sweets and gifts
Fun and excitement
Everywhere. People throng
Stores to buy
The crackers and clothes,
Intrigue by the
Vast collections.Both
Adults and children
Love this festival.
On this auspicious day,
Friends and relatives meet.
Lighting a lamp
Illuminates our lives,
Generates joy,
Happiness,and
The word Diwali brings
Smiles across the country
A Wedding Vow
Corpulent cottagers clapping like clowns
a fat Friday festival, gobblers and gowns.
Merry mad munchers of muffins and mirth
do-si-do dumbly, eaters of earth.
Champagne sugar shoved in a shoe
If love lasts not long, love handles will do.
Autumn
Autumn leaves trembling, slowly falling,
undressing a festival of fall colors.
Teasing, cool, crisp breeze drifts with the scent of sunshine and rain.
Under the harvest moon we dance falling in love again.
Monarch butterflies flutter  in the afternoon tasting flowers in the sun.
Nature's palette of bright and beautiful  shade of autumn spice.
You'Re Still the One
The beauty of the world beckons me
The sights and sounds fill me with glee
But despite all this happiness I miss you a ton
Because for me, you're still the one
You have seen me through the glum days of despair
When my heart and soul seemed beyond repair
But you stood by me even in the scorching sun
So for me, you're still the one
I was hurt and angry but even then
You protected me from the world like a mother hen
You stood by me, come rain or sun
So for me, you're still the one
Every moment with you feels like a festival of lights
My life with you seems full of delightful sights
Your love for me has been second to none
For me you have been, and always will be the one
Love Festival
I'll hold you my dear in our love nest.
I know you're the one that I love best.
     Although we're apart.
     When time comes to start.
I'm bringing you here to my love fest!
My Mourn
What is possible? You don’t know, my family isn’t so liberal.
Religion has matter for us, doesn’t matter woman is ever feeble.
Although God is one, we all are brother and sisters as I believe,
Whom do I felicitate? Why is forgiveness and mercy scribble?
My Caste is scurrile for me and my family lived with degrading,
Nobody delivered me delectation but I was grown up in trouble.
Pain and misprisal is a part of our life dejection enjoyed delectation,
I depart my home only to hide defame for my children’s reflectible.
You shouldn’t understand me why is appreciation pride for us?
Honesty and trust is mourned for me and love isn’t a festival.
Summer Reflection
I remember summers past
My arms around pretty women
Making love on the beach or in a car
Summer brings romance in its wake
The years come and go
This evening I flipped on my "Festival of Lights:" CD
Soon autumn will come with the NY Giants
heading off to battle
and the high holiday services
which I always used to attend with my father
He is gone now
But I'm still here!
The presidential elections are coming, too
Someone will win  - others go down to defeat
Our nation survives, friends
For all its faults  - it is our homeland
Let us hope love triumphs over hate
So we Americans can continue to live decent lives
Spring Festival
See the truth then in space and time,
Plot a bold play with precious heart;
Reach now not when as moments mime,
Ignite fond say as focus starts;
Niche happy moods in springtime fest,
Glide in a trance the dreamy path.
Feel pleasant good seed ample zest,
Exploit sure chance in lovely stuff;
Stillness now sums the poignant feel,
Taste then the feast of deep delight;
Invite what comes with open will,
Value funds lease of happy sights;
Aim to keep still in vibrant chance,
Love frames appeal of sacred dance.
Festival
This free love session
has made a man out of me
barefoot girls dancing everywhere!
beards and banjos
the young hippie chick
with the flowers in her hair
I'd love to go on a trip myself, amen
said the old man selling brownies
and then the band
fires up and I hear an
overwhelming roar
and I gravitate
to the music
Two Fires
Some feel the Holy Spirit
as the fire of the soul.
Some who have NO spirit
might feel a vacant hole.
Perhaps a little devilish
they like to play a bit.
They might light fires in Beltane -
and a “festival” call it.
It seems such ancient rituals
go on and on and on,
which fire seems eternal
since before the Christians’ dawn.
But we can be assured
there is but one good fire.
Not the one who evil love,
but the one who Christ desire.
Abc
A handsome boy
Before the Christmas tree,
Continue try for a love,
Deep as the sea.
Emily named a girl,
Fantabulous and fine,
Golden hair, really fair,
High school, class nine.
Impress each other,
Just any way,
Knowingly they choose,
Lady day.
Made for each other,
Ninety-nine percent correct,
On the way they heard,
Perfect, perfect, perfect.
Qualified that boy,
Ronaldo is his name,
Skillful and fresh,
The boy really a flame.
Understand each other,
Valentine day over.
With beautiful sunshine,
Xmas festival over.
Yes they are happy,
Zoologically with some nappy.
As joy greets spring.
Beauty knows soul
As joy sculpts whole.
The Pomegranate
Not one, three bowls of lovely pomegranates
Look, the passion incarnate
Love or hate as you like, please don't desecrate
Gateway to glorious ecstasy
Of serene sensuality holding supreme creativity
And the all seeing mighty eyes!
Invitation to the abundant festival of inhalations
‘Come, honeycombs are ready
Bees throughout eternity, come and benumb
Come here and swamp the boat’
Under the lavish moon there in the dark lagoon
Dog Munchers
Dog Munchers
In China they have a Summer Solstice festival where they eat dogs. There's not a peace loving animal stroking pagan in sight. Instead its dog munchers. Lots of them. They're very busy, killing and eating.
Over 10,000 dogs are killed and eaten on ONE DAY.
Kept in cages. Condemned to die. No love here except for hungry Chinese. They adore their exotic delicacy. Some people even say the festival is for foreign tourists. Money is made on them.
We cry out in horror!
200,000 people signed a petition to stop it. Will it do any good? ENOUGH! Stop this awful act. It's not acceptable in a 21st Century world. Your Yulin festival is from the Dark Ages.
Rose Festival
( I visited a rose garden in Fukuyama, Japan in 2003.
 There is a festival of roses on May 15 of every year)
_________________________________________
I visited a festival of roses
for the roses and by the roses.......
Every rose was expressing
its own size and shape
color and smell...
Every rose is a poem
and every poem is a rose.......
I visited a festival of clolors and smell
expressed by roses
Every rose was amazing and dancing
with the gentle breeze
like an innocent little girl
under the blue sky......
God is expressing his deep love
to mankind in those roses
Every rose is a sign of love
Every rose makes a poem of love.........
Escapades
You being with me,
escapades wild and crazy.
Silliness and laughter
remembered after.
You, so mischievous
fun and frivolous.
Dreamed of deliciousness,
bewitching blissfulness.
You being with me,
escapades wild and crazy.
Sexy and sensual ,
spine-tingling festival.
Your dangerous grin,
angel eyes, devilish within.
Captivating, charming
dashingly disarming.
You being with me,
escapades wild and crazy.
Champagne effervescence
your soul's luminescence.
Like tapestry design
our threads intertwine.
Lively and sublime
you, my once in a lifetime.
