Painting Our World With Love

When held in your arms
I'm crowned by your love
I know I am now safe
Your warmth empowers my inner soul
as I'm wrapped in your sweet embrace
You've inspired me to reach ever higher
as we launch into our new beginning
No storm or perils will break our meld
It's a partnership, not a confinement
respect, love and trust are intertwined
It's in your devoted love that I'm freed
Free to live, love and share life with you
Together we'll paint the world more glorious!

A Poetry Soup Breakup

I fell in love with a poet on this site
but lately something just hasn't been right.

It's time to bring this silly game to an end.
so you can have that other man for a boyfriend!

Damn it hurts, but now I must walk away.
I was a fool to be called your fiance.

I won't curse, just a poem to say I'm through.
And with this verse, I'm saying, "No more me and you!"

I know you like "couplets," should I say your name?
My first love, what was I thinking of: I'll never be the same!

Enjoy that other guy, and that move to another state.
I refuse to cry, and on your face, I wish I could defecate!!

Isle of Love Iv

time travels so fast
and we quickly forget the past
I thank God at last
yesterday you were my baby
now my lady
tomorrow you will be my fiance
and later in life
i shall call you my wife
diamonds are forever
i shall put a diamond ring
on your finger
for better or worst
we will be together
for our love is forever

Honesty and Devotion

A gentle word like a spark of light,
 Illuminates my soul
And as each sound goes deeper,
It's YOU that makes me whole

There is no corner, no dark place,
 YOUR LOVE cannot fill
And if the world starts causing waves,
It's your devotion that makes them still

And yes you always speak to me,
 In sweet honesty and truth
Your caring heart keeps out the rain,
 YOUR LOVE, the ultimate roof

So thank you my Love for being there,
 For supporting me, my life
I'll do the same for you, you know,
 My Beautiful, Darling Fiance.

To My Other Half, My Fiance

May this piece of art live in thy heart and soul for eternity
I counted the days, the minutes, seconds even until this day
For as long as I can recall, you have been my sight
I have wept over thy love, and I would gladly die for your well being

You once testified to the chant of the stars, for they sang my name unto thee
Called me your star, your sun, your all
Flattered I was and am, only you can complete my emptyness

O' love of mine, moon of my night, light of my day
I promise you to always love you and be your rock as best I can

You are my everything, I will love you for the rest of my days so help me God.

11:11

October 6th was when it ended
The love we shared got put on hold
You said,
" When the time is right, I will come back.
Pinky Promise."
It scares me to know that it's over.
I can't call you
baby
sweetheart
hun
or fiance'.
Being alone here while you're over there hurts enough
This just makes it worse.
Without you nothing makes sense.
Not even this poem...
I look up at the clock.
11:11
I wish my....
11:12
I guess my timing is always off...

To: my now ex boyfriend of 6 months. It ended 10 days before our 7 month and my birthday. I love you Raymond and I hope things work out in the end because you are my world

Always Your Poet

Forgive me when I fall silent
Times are pressing hard, and I feel it
Regardless of the pain, the stress
Still I cry out in the name of our love
Alley you are my world

Contagious Corona

I'm so happy I could cry.
My eldest child has said goodbye.
To England and that silly Boris,
who mismanaged the threat to us.

She and her fiance caught the ferry.
I'm so pleased it makes me merry.
Here in the wilds of Donegal,
they can isolate until the fall.

That virus has us on our knees.
I'm begging God if you please.
Spare me and mine this awful plight.
I want to be a grandma, if I might.

The world has got so small in ways.
Really in a matter of days,
corona has spread far and wide.
Here's hoping we can turn the tide.

We are only human after all.
Our planet now seems so small.
May this help us put wars behind.
Small island, small planet, small mankind.

My life has not been complete without knowing you.
Then when I finally did, I felt my whole life change anew.
Everything seems so beautiful and bright.
And even the sordid are a wonderful sight.
Everyday my thoughts are of you. And every night I dream of you
Bad news and bad luck can't make me sad
For it's you that make me go all through this and be glad.
Oh, how true! How true! I'm in-love with you
For I wish thee to be my beau
Then when fate and luck grant it be
I'll be quick to accept thee as my fiance with glee

I Am Grateful

I am grateful for the job I have
The people in my life
The roof over my head

I am glad for the food in my kitchen
The coat in my closet
Even my DVD collection

I am lucky to be healthy
Not stuck in a bed
Happy to have a car
Even if it’s a hooptie

But what I am the most grateful for
Is the smile waiting past my front door
My fiance is my life
I love you Rudy, you’re my best friend

Love

A love so pure and warm, the love that conquers all, my life, my love, the one i
want to spend my life with. Your love is so sharing and surrounds me, you are my
world my heart and now my fiance. So willing to love me with everything in your
heart towards you my love grows with each passing day . knowing that you will
love me through the hard times and good times. With each step i take and each
breath i breathe i know that you'll stand by my side. And while i count down the
days till we say I Do , just remember your one i want for life.

Sonnet 6

What fear resides the touching of our lips
To wed as mouth to mouth passionate lovers
Of little faith in sunken battleships
Would thou rather live free with dying brothers
The choice to wear a ring the knee may bend
Fiance' to another heart and drum
Could change thy face that peace and joy would mend
Into a mask with looks of gloom and glum
If time would turn and travel in the past
A rose would greet you every morning hour
And every nights collection would be vast
In hopes thy thoughts of marriage not be sour

Convince thy feet to freely jump the broom
And let our lips be one as bride and groom

Marrioleni

Her ego might
Have her to
Find reconciliation
a difficult process
beyond a need to
have meaning
definitions entitle
people to their roles
in love
fiance might be one
she never wished to be
but wife she fully embrasses
because of its definition
Entitlement creates a sense
of belonging
It empowers one with
rights and responsibilities
when the need of understanding
Is challenged
The mere words
Husband or
Wife
Gives meaning to what's
Going on

He Wished To Be Married

WONDER IN THE DESSERT OH SON OF MAN
PROSPER FROM THE TOILS OF TY WORK
SEEK TREASURE
THAT EXTRACT FROM THY SOILS
LINGER OH DOER OF WORK
SING ME IN SCOREFUL
WELL WRITTEN SONG
SING OF LOVE
SING WHETHER IT RIGHT
OR IT WRONG
SPEAK OF CONVERSATIONS
THAT HAVE PERFECT RESOLUTION
IN EARNEST OF LOVERS
SPEAK IT'S CONCLUSION
SNG ME OH RIGHTFUL
AND I SHALL
MAKE YE LOVED
SING ME RIGHT
AND I WILL BE YOURS
FROM FRIEND
TO FIANCE
TO HUSBAND
MAKE ME YOURS
REST WITH THE RIGHTEOUS
UNSINGLED OF COURSE

When You Believe

Why do you have to hide your face?
Hiding from the truth-
Shielded by black cotton,
As much as I can say,
As much as I can do,
No matter how my love is expressed-
My fiance turns away.
No trust in the heart that loves him the most-
The heart that beats for his very existance-
I pray,
For a day,
When you believe.
