Potd Good Night,Poets of Gold Pens

     ~Poetesses and Poets, Divine~

All over this great planet we live,
Penning our thoughts, and love to give!

With our hearts, as lanterns so bright,
Writing with hearts into this summer night.

Pen thee, then, of nature’s fine beauty.
Quietly, we are world Muses on duty.

Creations we form of happiness and sorrow.
Moonlight and dreams, on which to borrow!

A hug from me, now..close your eyes.
Tomorrow is both a gift and a surprise!

Hugs,

The Dance of Jealousy

Her piercing eyes burn through paper-thin lies igniting fear as flames erupt inside. And accusingly, she breaks down and cries, trying to salvage what's left of her pride. She believed you both had found your soulmate; and thus, never thought either heart would stray. And expresses feelings of love and hate; as she watches her dreams slipping away. There's no such thing as an innocent flirt; it's the first crack in a relationship. And the lies that accompany it hurt; causing the scales of happiness to tip. Jealousy is an emotional dance, stomping out flickering flames of romance.

Prayer For Her, This Wounded Heart Healed

Prayer For Her, This Wounded Heart Healed

Please keep this dream in my lost life
remove painful sting and life filled with strife
Let her dance and sing another sweet tune
as I hold her under this, merciful God's moon.

Yearning for Spring

Spring is back.
For hark!
The Eastern Bluebirds have returned,
Flying in droves from tree to tree,
Singing to their hearts’ delight.
No wonder they symbolise
The joy and happiness
Of gardens with fragrance love.

Yet I also admire The Swainson Thrush,
Aspiring grandeur with its fluting song.
A sure sign that Spring is back,
A choir of music mixed with skylarks,
Achieving a harmonious symphony,
A feeling that adds to the joy of bells.

Your Love I'Ll Ever Bear

I want to word my very Love for you
though as a shy child, I start to stammer
a beloved Mother, my sole bijou
as I am of your prime Land enamoured.

A rose breathing the scent of your terra
born and bred knowing no other home soil
how can I bear the burn of your Summer
anger and worry within my chest boil.

I want to paint my very pride in you
with drops of my blood and ivory star
then draw your nature and beauty anew
how would my poetry meet who you are?

To my dear mother, shall I, You compare?
TUNISIA, Your Love, I'll ever bear.

Love

Love
Love is a thing

You can't see it nor can you touch it
But you sure can see and feel its effect

A deep affection that fills you joyfully
You are drunk on happiness

It's always understanding
To accept the good, the bad, and the weak

It has no cultural condition
It sees no boundary nor race

It's fearless and flawless
It just flows limitlessly

It's God's love
Nailed to the cross for you and me

It's in you and me
It's I love you and you and you and God

I am drunk on happiness
Because HE loves me unconditionally

      Smile

The Sea-Man's Return

Swept away
the last colour
of sunset,
Ocean in his eyes,
winds and waves
the sea-man loved.

Forever gone
the late-song
of night birds,
crushed corals,
sand and rocks
the sea-man loved.

Blown afar
the harvest seeds,
Flowers in his heart,
Petals in bloom,
Pale-pink blossoms
the sea-man loved.

Found and lost
the light of stars,
Alone He sailed
through narrow paths,
to mountain'shadows
the sea-man loved.

In hope to smell
the scent of her hair,
In hope to wipe
rain off her lips,
In hope to taste
her roasting- chestnuts,

to mend regrets
with just one kiss.

Spiritual Law

Spiritual law of attraction: one can only receive by giving. One has to become love, if to know love for reception. What we hold in our consciousness is who we are and what we attract. Walls are all we think we know...better to live from a clean slate. Letting go opens our hands (hearts) for spiritual grasping. We are born dying obviously. It is not for death but our only way to life. It is illusion, the doorway not empty, not a space to pass through, but, in fact, a dimension of less encumbered being~ one dies to live dies to live...there is never lives to die. No darkness in creation...if anything, there is only self keeping out the light.

Una and the Lion

This world of trouble soon will pass
For there beyond the crystal glass
A lamb and lion tread the grass
Beside a lass, beside a lass

This cord of present time shall break
And hate and fear shall flee and quake
Oh, may all vice this earth forsake!
And love awake! And love awake!

Oh, see him walk 'neath mighty trees!
The king of beasts; what strength and ease!
Yet now content this lass to please
Her hand to tease, her hand to tease

Behold! A pleasant form and face!
The child of beauty crowned with grace!
Fair Una treads at even pace
A better place, a better place

Existence

awkwardly I dance
because I have two left feet
hard to find partner

I watch you dancing
it seems you have two right feet
let us share some shoes

will you follow me
for if we move together
dance will have purpose

you move fluidly
my feet provide the structure
made for each other

no limitations
with artistry and purpose
we dance with the stars

life is not boring
we live within the rhythm
music from heaven

God is our maestro
leading us to forever
in death we won't part

Follow Your Heart

Follow Your Heart Father Time has brought us safely thus far And our future is not tied to some distant star. We’ve always had each other’s arms That kept us together and safe from all harm. Yet, all our yesterdays now stand alone. And we know that tomorrow is not cast in stone, Where once we saw happiness, now there is pain It seems memories and heartaches are all that remain. So, when life seems the darkest and troubles appear And all the world’s dangers, alarmingly near, Remember our love - let it play its part And don’t be afraid to follow your heart. The Birds Begin

Despite the black, the birds begin
To call the light unto the day,
Persistent songs remind the Sun
To send the stars upon their way.

There's hope in this which I admire:
The birds trust what they're yet to see,
I know I trust you just the same,
And always will, unfailingly.

The Message In the Sun

I went to the sun for a favor
and asked it to shine only for you
to grant you happiness though you may be sad
bright yellow 'midst so much blue

but when the day decides to end
and the sun sinks and goes away
I give you the moon as a reminder
that my love will never fade

though i can't tell you how much I love you right now
and I can't show you what's in my heart
i hope when you look at the sun and moon
you'll realize we aren't that far apart

Bit of Truth and Wisdom, Found In Old Age

Bit Of Truth And Wisdom, Found In Old Age

At that age wisdom says life is a joke
consider blindness of other poor folk.
Stop to ponder why on earth we exist
you may just find giving on that big list.

To live well, love hard and thus procreate
easy to see easier to relate.
Living life together with your soulmate
should be a part of everybody's Fate!

Finding life is not about what you got
should be holding solid, number one spot
Tis more about life lived well and deeper
with one you found, knew to be a keeper

If long life, happiness is your great aim
if reaching not for it, you are to blame!

What Is Love

What is Love

Trust - unconditionally in that someone special.
Faith - and devotion through divine destiny.
Contentment - in knowing love is equally reciprocated.
Soul connection - that tethers a couple together forever.

Myriads of Umbrellas

Myriads of umbrellas like I’ve never seen floating upward brilliant red, yellow, pink and green. Many happy thoughts must be in the springtime breeze, or bright hope could not ascend high above the trees! Opened up, hope shelters us from the rains of gloom. Losing sight of happiness would be mankind’s doom. Peace and love must guide our thoughts so we might see rise myriads of umbrellas through all earth’s blue skies! A Night of Passion

It wasn't love they needed
It was a night of passion they yearned for
       One feverish touch
       One delicious kiss
and it was a blaze of flame
they could not resist

She was in a high fever to touch and feel all of him
He was on fire ready to explode needing her ever most

They need not the light on
They just need each other
         In the dark
         In the bed
There they explore undisturbed
There they found pure satisfactions
     She lay shamelessly smiling
He, holding on to her happily

        Smile

Cherry Blossoms

atop worn weathered concrete
pink petals gaily gather
entice lovers strolling
fingers touch mittens vanish.

blushing halo canopy
highlights cool rosy cheeks
tiny buds whisper passion
newly awakened long sleep.

sky gleams dreamy hues
turquoise shyly taunting
button noses cold rub
lips plump part wanting.

kiss two hearts waltz
more kisses sweetest tune
cherry blossoms dance
sprinkle magic love blooms.

A Knee-Jerk Reaction

An outpouring of happiness, love surges up from the heart and splashes against the soul; an emotion exclusive to humans. More than a ubiquitous word, love is an overwhelming desire, that burns in your heart and merges with your soul; defying logic and reason. The heart entertains a multitude of inexplicable feelings, beyond all hopes and expectations; love is both ethereal and physical. A heart filled with love forgives what a prideful heart will not; for love's a knee-jerk reaction, that requires no thought. Love can bring excruciating pain; or a euphoric rush; either way, it will not be ignored; nor ever lead you astray.

Words

Words can be as deadly as a knife
It can penetrate straight through your heart
Bleed all the spirit right out of your life
Twists your mind and tear you apart

Words can bring you pain and sorrow
Weaken the spirits of today and tomorrow
Breaks your heart and squeeze your head
Leave you living yet leave you dead

But words of love from the very start
Can instill much happiness to your heart
Eased your pain and comfort your mind
Have you seeing yet have you blind

Living Life as One

Like clouds drifting through a sun-brightened sky,
My thoughts start to ask, where, what, when and why.
Why am I here with you, what must I do?
How do I determine what’s really true?

Love offers something we can hold on to,
You pledge to me, as I pledge love to you.
We’ll give as freely as we will receive,
Accept the oneness in which we believe.

Peace is embellished by those who are quiet,
Living in the present, no end in sight.
Forget your past, all happiness and strife,
Easing tension like slicing with a knife.

This is the way to live a mindful life.
Two living as one as husband and wife.

The Luckiest Man

The Luckiest Man

I have found that not everyone is as strong
As the skies are wide and the days are long

But in life I have found there is this one
Whose bounty makes me feel as warm as the sun

And from the moment that she first caught my eye
I knew I’d be with her til’ the day that I die

That I would love and cherish her all the day through
And do all those little things we men are supposed to do

And spend my days lost in utter bliss
That I had this beautiful woman to kiss

And there’s one true fact ‘bout her being my girl
That makes me the luckiest man in the world

The Best Mistake

You made the mistake and now,
your afraid to face this day.

Your thoughts are racing through
and through.

You wonder if your family looks at
you as a disgrace, but you'er mother
takes you and reasures, your very
much loved in grace.

Even though your much to young
for this breathing little thing this
has become.

You couldn't just throw it out
like it was a peice of trash.

So you grow up and take the
path that led you to your best
mistake for years to come.
