The Promise of Spring - a Fibonacci

I
Will
Kiss you
While you sleep
Lady dressed in white
And melt your cold heart made of ice

Then
You
Will rise
Liquefied
High into the sky
And fall as raindrops from God’s eyes

To
The
Waiting
Buds below
Where now you will grow
With me - in the bloom of a rose

My Heart Is Meant For You

Lights dimmed in a cool marbled hall
a solitary candle flickers
soft chamber music echoes
and my thoughts turn to You
down on my knees
memories come as love has gone
how many times have I begged
to have a heart to hold
a bond to build
an angel to adore
Again I beg for the courage
the strength to carry on
to lead
to live
to love
unconditionally
A bright ray of sunshine
filters through the stained glass window
illuminating your image
heartaches soothe as I take in your essence
and I know
my heart is meant for You

Pleasures of Reading

It pleasures me
That she reads me
Inside her serenity
Parked on our bench of antiquities

I, whom gazes over there at her,
Later in the dusk of candlelight
Shall remove her pink dress
Tiss then
I shall see she derives her pleasures
As I read her

Spiritual Birth

grace will find you when thoughts fade away crushed with unbearable grief "losing your mind" suffering during a dark night of the soul the ego crumbles; revealing the light your soul consciousness "finding yourself" directly experiencing the divine sense of oneness where everything is connected at a deeper level there is but one consciousness appearing as many "awakened" breathless views are available with inner focus crossing a chasm with one final leap of faith you become blissful; radiating like the sun "experiencing enlightenment" revived with a new perspective humans are never perfect but our pure being is "love"

Pearl of a Great Price

Dancing with the sunbeams deep sea reflections
so beautiful adoring on cloud nine sitting pretty
upon golden sands shifting salt of the ocean turns

Each wave a blessing in disguise
standing regal one moment in time
looking back captivating starlight was born

Mirrors mist over arched jewels colour radiance
fixing thoughts on an image beholding your word
no diamond ever cut comes close to you

A Bullfrog's Croak

Silent as smoke, darkness descends; as shadows merge and daylight ends. For summoned by a bullfrog's croak; darkness descends, silent as smoke. The Moon pools in ebony skies; gilded golden; She starts to rise. One of the night's brightest jewels; in ebony skies, the Moon pools. Blue bleeds red from a dying sun, a telltale sign that day is done. Inking crimson clouds overhead; from a dying sun, blue bleeds red. Signaling their love, fireflies flash; as dusk settles like sooty ash. Under the stars, twinkling above; fireflies flash, signaling their love.

Paper Plane

Since you left, I've been unable to dream, thrashing about in tangled sheets all night. I fold paper planes, odd as that may seem, preparing the night's fledgling fears for flight. I believed we'd be together till death, and yet, you left, and I’m alone and scared. Without you, I've no reason to draw breath, what kept me going was thinking you cared. I scribble down my anger and my pain, describing just how much love has hurt me. And fold the page into a paper plane, hoping the hand of fate will set it free. And await a breeze to launch my letter; for once that plane takes flight, I'll sleep better.

Unfulfilled Dreams

Loneliness is like a graveyard haunted by ghosts,
empty memories, and unfulfilled dreams:
                         where hearts endure
                          an endless pain.

My tomorrows are fewer than my yesterdays;
it's like I'm fated to spend life alone.
In my youth, I pretended I was loved;
and can't convey how it felt to be unwanted.

I want to love and to be loved,
        is that not everybody's dream?

                         Paper-thin smiles,
                          shadow sad tears.

I'M All Alone

I am the Earth

The Stars and the Seas

In the Silence of Angels

I'm in the Breeze

I am of Sound

A Musical played by the Wind

A Rainbow over Mountains

The Hope of Flowers in Spring

I am the dream

The dream of my Soul

Whenever lost I remember

I am my home

I am a Man

In the Image of God

A Universe full of Wonders

I‘m made for Love

I am Me

Born to be Free

On the Wings of a Prayer

Fly my heart back to thee

Yet I'm all ALONE.... This the Journey of Me....

Sonnet 19

Cupid, why hast thou cursed me with thy bow?
Enchanting my desires and compliments
Unto a woman who seems not to show
The same affections of my hearts contents

Of vibrant colors I pick each a flower
Laying them by her doorsteps where I daze
I dream of her awake at sunlight hour
Kissing her image that my mind displays

Yet I am like the rain above her head
The way she runs away from showered gifts
I never knew inside my heart could shred
Heartbroken by her distant love that drifts

Only if thy arrow and bow had missed
My fate and love for her would not exist

Vows To My True Love

Like the smallest intake of air; I deserve not. Like a fantasy and dream of a woman to have, honor, cherish and love till death; I deserve not. But God has been so good to me, even through the sins amongst my internal image that I've committed several times over. Confessions after confessions after confessions, and yet, I'm breathing in an abundance of air and I've been blessed with a woman that's greater than any fantasy and dream of many dreams. Thank you Father for blessing me...(sigh) Thank you.

Silver Lining

?The day my Silver lining vanished away?

I was traumatized,
After walking through the bedroom door.

No movement, or sign,
Not one single breath left behind,
the canvas has been painted black.
Not a single image on the wall,
I took one last gasp----- of nothing,
No hint of musk in the air,
Silently, I stare, to the unknown
The positive aspect, gone,
My unseen benefit is missing,
The absent suitcase,
The only clue!
The burglar took it all,
the garbage stood alone.
This is not my home.

Chaotic, disconcerted
After walking through the bedroom door.

Lost In Autumn's Goodbye

The stunning scarlet leaf flows with gentle fervor.
Freedom requires a depth of beauty for nature's relinquished desires.
There seems to be a dynamic image brought forth from the soft
breeze that whispers dainty goodbyes. For our love is gone and so
is the memory of the barren branches from our favorite sapling.
I knew not of love before you, only of the heartache that Autumn
bestows.

                     I needed you like a breath of fresh air;
you lost me in the wind.

                                               -delicate crimson…

With You In Autumn Evening

The sweet songs of birds, We hand in hand across the lawn, Pansies white yellow and violet Tossing their heads in the breeze. Somewhere the sound of falling leaves. The sound of squirrel cracking the walnut. Calm weather warm sun, White fluffy clouds forming different shapes, A passenger flight in the blue sky, Sun born in the horizon and about to fade in the horizon, Both our heartbeats echo inside of chest, Shutting and opening of our lips, Your unkempt hair flying backwards, Yellowish west sky. Heart shaped fig leaf's shadow. If I could stop this world from spinning, I would do so, Just to be with you In this autumn evening.

He Who Delivers

God of the universe, God of love,
 yearns in sorrow.

Man, created in his own image,
spurns his love,
pushes aside his words.

Even the knell,
conveyed in aquatic tongue,
rests on closed ears.

His ultimate roar becomes a whisper
in the hearts of men: Sin and death
have now been crushed.

He who believes,
may yet be redeemed.

Looking Into the Mirror

"Looking Into the Mirror"
Sudden realizations iced up his core
To form the frozen image of a man
He who stared in reflected embarrassment
While sobering silence takes over the room
As this was not the person he was to become
But for childish dreams that stuck with him
Fantastic machinations that warped a man's mind
So he'd remain a child who never grew up
And had to face his parents on occasions
The adult to them is just on the exterior
Because he made a living selling his voice
Though in using it to say I'm sorry
His parents would have to wait
Just like the forever he has waited
To hear them say we love you for what you are
A child never grows too old
For their parents open arms

Return To Wagon Wheel

The clouds have formed a mare’s tail in the sky,
a fitting image, for I’m being led
beneath them, where in eerie silence lie
abandoned stalls, untended land, a shed.

And on a gate, like some strange souvenir,
a halfway broken sign reads “Wagon Wheel.”
That horses once were bred and ridden here
both grime and span of time cannot conceal.

But farther down a lane, behind some trees,
(where happiness once lived!) awaits my spring -
a large house, shuttered, with its memories.
In front of it still hangs that wooden swing.

Above long grass and weeds it starts to sway.
The ghost of me has now returned to play.

Fire and Ice

If snowflakes set aflame the ground They touch and wintry winds abet The flames, would she and I this day always remain deeply in love? Yet snow is snow-it’s wet, it’s cold Its frigid blanket lacks the warmth That lover’s hearts depend and thrive; It stifles, smothers all that grows and extinguishes any fire. Snow-flames are just a fantasy An image conjured in my mind But in my heart our love is true In any world we two reside inventible or otherwise.

A World Away

I found your eyes so randomly,
your face did not exist

No waist to place my arms around,
no lips for me to kiss

No hair to lose my fingers in,
nor ear to whisper sweet

No one to hide within my heart,
to fall in love so deep

Your image I saw by happenstance,
a beautiful vision to see

You held me there with just a look,
as you stared back at me

Your eyes, those lips, that lovely face,
my feelings are all for not

For you are more than a world away,
my beauty from Herat
