RETREAT TO HEED OUR HONEST DEEDS
Two old oak trees weathered by winds and rain
with fallen leaves, branches and toughened bark
to shield a core of grandeur, and sustain
the wisdom borne to see the light from dark.
Two noble men aware of twilight time
both face evil world with courage and grace
Love and Nature gifts each, a life sublime
all standing with courage none can erase.
Each rooted within mother earth's great fold
weathering this world's darkest raging storms
images show lives lived regally and bold
tho' existing in weakened earthen forms.
With words of wisdom written in our seeds
we seek retreat to heed our honest deeds.

Honey vapour scents travelled among seduced tepid zephyrs.
This was not a dream for I was within the realms of reality,
as fate's footsteps led my heart back to forgotten pastures.
Her persona was poetic personification, yet I was lost for words,
so in simple silence, souls serenaded suppressed symphonies.
The idyllic radiance of her eyes became a timeless memory,
the warmth of our first kiss an eternal celestial connection.

As sun's orange glow folds in embrace
Caressing kiss of love --find me then.

love hurts,
My whispered words trail to a halt
Her sobbing muffled by the wind
Beneath our faithful trusted tree
Concealed from Luna’s prying eyes
We share the pain of anguished hearts
As time draws near for us to part
And take divergent paths of life
To quell the urge of bridled love.
When dawn approaches we shall leave
With nothing else but memories
Unloosing hands from this embrace
Our shattered dreams can’t be replaced.

love,
After the party and all our great fun,
new friends were trickling out my front door.
With their goodbye hugs, they left one by one,
and I was left feeling surely “the more
the merrier” was a phrase that was true
with my apartment now emptied of sound!
But through the night, I’d been noticing YOU.
Unlike the others, you’d just stuck around.
You told me you’d waited all night for the chance
to be with me only. My heart skipped a beat.
Putting on music, you asked for a dance!
The moment was magic, and you were so sweet.
Today we still dance to that same song.
After the party, my prince came along!

angel, death, grief,
Today another angel got her wings
Promoted for a job well done on earth
Rejoice! In heaven, all the angels sing
His grace has filled her with angelic mirth
Though quickly earth reclaims the pyre's ash
How swift the ceaseless seasons of the sun
Grief fades and loneliness becomes the lash
A harsh reminder of that special one
But in our times of sad and dark despair
Our angel fans the dying flame of love
No longer suffering, her joy she shares
Reminding us she's waiting up above
This life is for the living, not the dead
Our day will come, when no more tears are shed

Breathe my love, for I breathe for you
Thru cyan skies and oceans bathing blue
Speak my love, for I lonely listen for you
Vivacious vivid voices of a sensuous spew
Dream my love, for I only dream of you
Lavish green meadows in the morning dew
Sing my love, for I symphonically sing for you
With Angelic ambiance within heavens view
Cry my love, for I calamitously cry for you
Lachrymal layers of our binding brew
Dance my love, so I may dance with you
In melodic moonlight that I may woo
Love, my love, so I may love with you
Through echoing eternity just the two.

In winds of care I blow free
Sending signals of my love for thee
Reaching out for you and holding tight
Each and every unguarded night
Allow my arms to be a comfort place
Left open for you with a warm embrace

where a frantic heart, beats in your fervour
No more secrets, so effortlessly you arrive
in every corner, dreams in vain endeavour
in swarm of thousand kisses, I slowly melt
impetuous arms hug, a wild maddened sea
faintly glowing cinder, every cell now felt
an embrace, in your lockup, you set me free

loneliness, lost love, sad,
A hollow heart devoid of love
is like a night no stars above,
or like an old abandoned well
whose empty echoes speak of hell.
A lonely heart will gently weep
as raindrops through her veins will seep,
and cascade down a pallid cheek,
and leave a weary spirit weak.
My broken spirit aches with pain
when sun sinks low at end of day,
and darkness douses hopes thereof
as midnight chimes amidst the rain.
These sad forsaken dreams portray
my hollow heart devoid of love.

sea, sunset,
One painting shows a twilight sky.
I gaze at it. It makes me sigh.
I stand there for the longest time.
Inside my mind there comes a rhyme.
Beneath the brilliant sky I see
the waters of infinity.
And staring at the wondrous scene,
I’ve now dissolved into its dream.
I’ve turned into the waves that rise,
which match the blue-green of my eyes.
And as I rise, I long to touch
the hues of sky I love so much.
Deep violet and rosy pink
of sunset’s sky begin to sink
into the briny depths of me.
I’m rhythm, rhyme, and sky and sea!

betrayal, lost love,
We harvested the grapes in late autumn
when ripeness of love was at its best,
but deceit in the time of maturing
changed the passion to wrath and unrest.
Acerbic vinegar replaced sweet wine
and richness of flavour ceased to be mine.
Betrayed was the pledge of a tender vine.

passionheart, heart,
"A woodland path in the dappled sun, hushed and quiet "
At last you’ve come for me, my love, my sweet!
You’ve come through tranquil woodland, with the breeze,
along that path where once we used to meet
and with the sunlight streaming through the trees!
With passion in your eyes and wings for feet,
you’ve come for me, and all my anguish flees.
You are so near, I hear your wild heart beat.
You’ve come for me, my own wild heart to seize.
Alas! The woods have vanished with the gleam
of my waking dawn. It was but a dream.

hurt twisting knots around the deepest fingers
love you from my heart warmest emotions so
in each kiss of your beauty I feel all of you
worth the suffering and pain that happens
gaining rewards in the end—undiminished love
happiness such a precious gift for us forever
the teardrop falls now freely in your honor
it spills warmly and gently in your name love
as grace is my honor to bear this noble sacrifice
with joy and I find you now my sweetest sunshine
with happiness being my one-way ticket to paradise

love, nature, summer,
Oh, summer sun, all winter I have missed
your stale hot breath upon my upturned face;
your tongue that seers my flesh as I unlace
the strings on my bikini. I am kissed
by sultry lips that burn. I can’t resist!
I bask in light of day, and I embrace
Your penetrating rays that find each space
of skin exposed. I wait and plan my tryst.
And when you come, I’ll reverence you once more,
supine, as you would have me, to receive
your torrid touch as token of your lust.
In June we’ll meet as always by the lake shore.
I should not go. So well you can deceive.
Some lovers you have killed! Yet still I trust. . .

Christmas Gifts
Christmas time was lonely for this young boy.
He lived a homeless life upon the street.
Remembering before, when life held joy,
Inside, warm and cozy near a hearth's heat.
Snowmen always seemed to share such delight
That he thought he would build one near each home,
Maybe joining in a fun snowball fight,
Always creating snowmen in the gloam;
Sweet surprise for families unaware.
Giving the only gift he could think of
In building each snowman he took such care,
For it was his kind way to share his love.
These gifts brought him such happiness to see
Smiles upon surprised faces filled with glee.

Its easy to become what you fear..
Could bring you down,or shift you into high gear
Embrace the hope you see in others..
A neighborhood filled with loving sisters and brothers
Love and care for eachothers..
Always a helping hand and some leftovers
Smiling faces in the streets, children playing in paradise
Come on over, check it out while we roll the dice..

teen love,
The arboretum looks as it did then
With silver maples dancing in the breeze
Wildflowers bloom within the narrow glen
Remember how we kissed beneath the trees?
One special oak displays the heart you carved
With our initials set within its wall
We were so young and yet our souls seemed starved
So passionate are teens when first they fall
Today I came to view the art we left
Surrounded by the blooms, the trees, the birds
And though my heart seeks you, I am bereft
Of promises defined by long lost words
I miss that passion coursing through our veins
Now you have left and loneliness remains

All I need to know
Tomorrow shall bring
A joyous occasion.
Patiently I wait
Walking through time
In this labyrinth
Only the soul knows
Fly like an eagle
Carry my soul
Unfold my heart
In harmonic bursts
Magical moments
Finding love
Always on my mind
My beloved friend
When faith returns
The way we were
Together as one
Dreamers
Love is like the rose
Heralding the day
Simply love
Just you and me
In a perfect storm
A calming light came to me
As I awoke
A vision of pure light.

fantasy,
'Twas the time of Summer solstice, they wed
Verdant leaves clung to trees; the month was June
Whispered troths of love, sacred vows were said
'fore fauna, rising sun and waning moon
Prince Largent was soon to be crowned as king
but Mekram, the wise, held grief in his eyes
He smiled with joy when Asha wore the ring
Though death neared, he feigned a joyous disguise
Bodies joined, celestial and human
Festive auguries 'pon the forest floor
Skies aflame, trees canopied with lumen
Their world glows today, and forevermore
'Twas said to be just an immortal tale
but in June, astral light gleams in the vale
