Rainbows on the Moon

in hyacinth and heather my true love dwells
and in lush lavender her bones rest in peace
no mere human can project nor can foretell
when in this life one's vitality may cease
yet this I know and of this I can be sure
that her soul was white as snow and truly pure
thus in God's new world I know I'll see her soon
and together we'll chase rainbows on the moon

Us

pulsating periwinkle stars dot the sky-
under a lavender moon we make sweet love
on silk-soft sand two passionate lovers lie
as heavenly hosts serenade from above
all around us luminous fireflies fly-
we take it in, so totally in awe of
the vastness and smallness of this treasured night
basking in the afterglow of love and light

Angel Love

Angel Love

There is a rose named angel face,
In lavender she blooms with grace.
When I admire her sweet splendor
I recall your love so tender

Keeping watchful eyes over me,
And answering with love my plea
For your help, when I am in need,
Contrasting miracles indeed!

Though unseen, I feel your presence
In aura of Divine essence.
My soul yearns to meet you in kind
So grateful you can read my mind;

Lift my burdens, leave shoulders bare,
I could not live without your care.
What a blessing you are to me!
You have my love eternally.

Celeste Romance

I gaze at those fireflies in
your butter-sweet eyes that shine,
succulent with white lush pulp
of love's purity,

you hue my wildflower heart
with hyacinth, as we twirl
like spring-shaded tulips in
life's regal-black psalms;

mon cherie, I wish for stars
to sequin your shimmering
wine soul and cradle comets
of faith in your fate,

as, rubies glazed with honeyed
hibiscus and nectarine
daisies will be my pink muse,
forevermore true;

afterlife shall foretell our
lavender soliloquy
of celeste romance, whipped in
soft beige affection,

and your coral spirit will
eternally emphasise
cherry letters as tokens
of swan-shaped twin flames.

Kaleidoscope Eyes

My eyes, some days, a flirty blue,
wink cerulean skies at you.
Let’s dally in sun’s gilded rays.
A flirty blue, my eyes - some days.

At evening time my eyes flash bright
as emeralds in sultry night.
Come bathe with me in passion’s clime.
My eyes flash bright at evening time.

Romantic eyes, with whisper of
soft lavender for one I love.
In gossamer, I’ll mesmerize
with whisper of romantic eyes.

In early morn, a green, pearl-gray
reflects your face in velvet day.
This placid hue my eyes were born-
a green, pearl-gray in early morn.

(My eyes actually change color with the contact lenses I choose to wear

Your Skin

Soft and smooth and oh so sweet Pure delight when our fingers meet Sundrenched olive with a hint of peach My loving touch is within your reach Brief scents of lavender fill my heart Enchanting, exciting, you're a work of art Late night caresses under the setting sun Light kisses, a playful pinch, just having fun Scented oils, a rub or two Oh how much I love you Tracing your body with my hands of gold The feelings I get never grow old Each night ends and each day begins with a look at your beauty and a kiss on your skin

I Dream of Dreams

I dream of a place where dancers embrace,
Waltzing together incipient lights,
Music transposed echoed heavenly grace,
Accompanies first harmonious nights;

I dream of lilacs and lavender mist,
Adrift susurrus shoreline’s infinite breeze,
Flowing compassion through time reminisced,
That journeys taken be traveled with ease:

I dream of a whisper remembered well,
Spoken in honeydew’s gentle caress,
Promising lovers when broken-hearts swell,
Friendship would mean there’s always forgiveness.

I dream of a dream where happiness numbs,
That dreams of a place where yesterday comes.

Morning Mist

In dampened blur of violet dawn
as angels’ weep did touch upon
a mourner’s shoulders mist enshroud -
to soften edges gauzy haze
that hug around these painful days
and mellow memories endowed
in sacred stillness of time gone.

In silent water droplets clear
is beauty precious every sphere
collecting on the silvern spires
midst leaf and scented lavender
reminding me of when we were
devoted in our love’s desires -
each flower holds a lost love tear.

Your Beauty Touched My Sky

When your beauty touched my sky the flowers bent my way engulfing me in a fragrance that I now know as you   The lilac and the lavender it moved around my soul bringing comfort to the romance begging to make our home   Wrap your arms around my kindness let your heart beat soft and free breathe into the sunshine in this dance of you and me

I AM

I am that little light that shines
Within your heart inside your mind
That rises floats despite dark dilemma
I keep you warm despite white December

I am the start when some say end
That little spark of blue you begin
The make a way out of neon nothing
To pave to raise the road to green dream

I am a yes when life says no
And you digest a positive soul
That cherry confess to be inclined
To walk by faith and not by sight

I am lavender love despite hate
And tender touch that makes a day
I am of peach peace in any place
Find me with ease when you pray

I’m the fuchsia flower blooming your soul
I am purple power I am hazel hope

The Moon Shone Brightly - Potd

Lilac lavender leaves fluttered ethereally
over the smooth sea of the placid lake.
A shimmer of light shone over the calm waves,
as they rolled silently and collectively
towards the sandy shore now lit
by the rising of the amber full moon.

Wave after wave composed
a lyrical enchanting melody
played by the rising orb.

The leaves formed fragrant shapes
emulating the grandness of the scene.
In the gathering darkness two lovers
heard the alluring symphony
and felt each other entwined
in a dance of love as the moon
in a dreamy crescendo shone
brightly evermore.
Until the eclipse took place.
Then it hummed no more that night.

in lilac dreams

"I love the silent hour of night,/ For blissful dreams may then arise, Revealing to my charmed sight / What may not bless my waking eyes." from first verse of Anne Brontë's "Night" tarrying in lilac dreams I flower in full sunlight where I flirt with butterflies and gleefully kiss tulips when lilac dreams wilt away I sojourn nearby a sea caressed by its rippling tides under a lavender sky the twilight turns into night bathing me in the splendor of a full blue-white hued moon and myriad stars’ sparkle deep violet melts away I drift again into dawn wishing that I could linger ever in sweet lilac dreams

Violet

A purple temperature within my gloves—
For this night, the bleak snow is on and on,
Which I am gathering your meaning of—
For our knit in-between is slowing, gone.

I'm to your losses; snowflakes lavender,
And straddling the fence, the timbre aches—
On your mauve dress, redeeming ice sheets turn;
In such moments, solid again, we're made.

My own part in skies— a paralyzed blue,
Where dark clouds wreathe in and out of interest;
Know the true day will dawn and set with you—
Sun's beg on rolling stones for violet.

You Plant Me

Plant me like a red rose in your heart
Keep me alive there never loose spark
When you speak may words deliver me
In love to trust what you are saying

Kiss my spirit with your thoughts
Transcending touch to bring lavender love
Fill me like an exotic tea kettle
And drink me in your thirst forever

Smile with your eyes when you hear my name
Find a grin in mine at the thought of you
Dance with me despite my two left fuchsia feet
When I am gone make love to my memory

I love how we are so close
That even in dark I know
Just who you are inside and out
You are my soulmate find in me your house.

Winsome Wisteria

Winsome Wisteria

Eden open your arms to grace
Wisteria's soft petaled blooms
Draped stunningly about Spring’s face
In shades of lavender like plumes.

Your scent wafts heady in the breeze
When racemes descend from above.
Divine as the flowering trees
Your sight captures my heart with love.

Goddess Venus must be aware
Of the glory that you bestow.
Like dangling ringlets in Spring’s hair
Wind sprinkles your petals below.

When over the arbor you vine
I'm deeply moved by your presence
You loom aesthetically divine…
Transporting me with your pleasance.

Death's Cold Hand

Easter brings back sad memories.
My mother died on Good Friday.
She was a bible scholar and quoted
Jesus's words every day to us kids.
I remember her love for lavender,
Her operatic gentle voice singing to us.
How she loved little children with joy
And what a great grandmother she was.

The Blessing

When I held the rose of you
Sweetest lavender began flooding through the veins

Melting into the soul's echo lovingly wrapped up
in cotton softness beholding treasures find

Sparkling diamond light shines silver lining footprints
with the dewdrops amazing gems crown perfection

Under a halo upon the mantel there grace sits
So beautiful and rare as the morning smiles

With colours drawn inwardly a special promise arches
upon an angel whom appears though the breath held light

Always and forever dressed as a dove purely angelic
Swept away breathless beyond space

The Sum of Us

Our minds and souls have somehow linked.
Strolled down paths of rain freshened flowers.
Forever mingling to songbird hues.

We spread our mutual seed into forests green.
The texture of our scent. Pristine.
The past cannot blemish such moments.

In the center of our lifetime, a golden pool.
Harp fish splash a silvery surface.
The bottom strewn with love's jewels.

We dive for the blue heart of it all.
A deepening touch, tumbling walls.
An eddy of us paints a lavender dusk.

We emerge pure as the sum of our love.
Infinity plus infinity equaling us.
Death cannot divide the frolic of such moments.

Lavender Skies

Lavender shades are reflected
In the shy sparkle of your eyes.
As dawn reveals still purple hills
In early morn's gloaming skies.

Tall pines envelope us with bird songs
In harmony's league with the wind.
Lovers kissing in silhouette,
As two souls intertwined ascend,

Rising beyond. . .lavender skies
A sacred dimension unseen.
As above so below we seek
To keep divine love in between.

By this sacred love we’ve been blessed
To share such happiness given.
Two hearts with twin aspirations
Shall dwell on Earth as in Heaven.

Wind Rider

**From my collection of poems: 'Apollo's Diary'

I wonder if she thinks of me,
   at night, alone.....
   in her melting-bed;
With moon full as her curiousity
....my breath, the wind in the late hour
the stars I shall tease with,
   and phallic-lavender to ignite her bosom;
I am all things gentle, yet mighty,
   soft as her silk sheets.....
Dark and tall in her bedroom shadows,
   but candle-light makes me real
   with the night so young,
if a king should come ----
   he will not do.....
She longs love, not adulterous power;
I shall whisper upon a balmy breeze.....
(I wonder if she thinks of me)
    at night.....

When Bubbles Dissipate

Hearing the waters Translucent lavender flow Imagination Enriched blind, senses kick in Silence abounds, clothes in fall Naked to bare dip Porcelain to porcelain Glass of champagne chinks Lapping ripples in caress Submerged delights allure me Patiently I wait Her cue, for me to approach Encroach, I go through Eyes, eye, tanned undulations When said bubbles dissipate

In Every Sense

In every sense I smell his love
When the pure-scented moonlight bathes my window
Reflecting its tresses inside and the night-breeze
Spills a bouquet exploding of wonderful colors
Of evocations to mind which stroke perfumed
Warm touch on my glowing skin courted
By lavender whispers of memory… hmm…there
In every sense I smell his love.

Lovely Suppositions

i have kissed beneath summer’s sweltering
fragrance your array of spackled decay

in lovely gardens; sweet roses weltering
plundered and plucked; an incidental lay

beneath your satin I have run my fingers,
trembled as famished breasts groped my
own; your mellow poetry still lingers
imperviously enriching - and when i try
to kiss another i feel your haunting roots

encroaching my tingled thighs and i shake
beleaguered by your lavender; heat shoots

through laboring reeds sprouted mistakes
pale panhandlers passionately proposed

then by your tender

i’m awaiting... (so you suppose)
