Food Pyramid, Oklahoma

In the wee hour before customers came to call,
Groceries came to life and had a Cinderella ball.
"Je'taime," purred the french toast to the frozen peas,
"Oh quit your fast talk. I'm southern, If you please."

The peanut butter tried his luck. He felt rather 'hunky'.
He winked at the jelly. She gasped. "You sir, are chunky!"
Lemons and limes provided fragrance. Love was found.
Mr Goodbar married Mrs. Butterworth, their children sold by the pound.

Demon, Lemon.Aid?

Do you care for a glass
Of what I’ve made flash?
Demons made of Lemons
In disguise of the flesh?
Splayed open in the mesh
Strayed too near my bed
Demon catcher I am I said…
Making Lemons.aid for man.
Don’t be afraid my friend…
It’s just a cascade I’ve made.
So do you care for a glass?
Of my fresh Lemon, Flash?

Purple Is Not An Eye Color 49

49.
So the purple pen bleeds
Like the yelling drunk
Who has had 4 hours to drink
next to the pyramids of lemons
In huge margarita glasses

Blind, deaf, dumb
Sit and think on possibilities
Determine the odds, and plane this field
Your own divinity lies in the plasma of your veins
That may speak essentials to stardust and beyond

But back to you my love.
His blue eyes are brighter than daydreams
And I drown.

The Red,Red Rose

Oh! how I love the red, red rose,
With your soft petals and bewitching smell,
Thou art the symbol of love, passion and purity,
Reflecting various moods and feelings,
Your heavenly fragrance smells of lemons and honey,
You look trim and smart,
With your petals arranged in exquisite smoothness,
Though you sprout out ,
From a tree of thorns and creepy bushes,
You evoke a captivating aroma,
That outclasses all the smells,
That the world boasts of;
You are indeed the queen of flowers
An earthly reminder of heavenly blessings..

The Lost Man

The one with a sweet cherry lips
The one with a piercing eyes
The one with a weird sense of humour
The one who does not carry the heart on his sleeves

The obstacles are challenges
The hassles are opportunities
The lemons are the sweetness
The mind is to indulged

The one who's focus is so intense
The one who's not persuasive
The one who's smile mesmerise the soul
The one who's eagerly ready

The memories are there to be a constant reminder
The love given is there to be received
The decisions are there to be consequences
The heart is there to be nurtured

Just a Zombie

Bloody, blonde hair.
Dirty, and thin.
My life is dispear.
I just can't win.
I live underground.
come out at night.
My personality's round.
No lemons just limes.
Sour and worthless.
No friends by my side.
No love in my heart.
My fear is alive!
My life isn't missed.
Cause killings my hobby.
But the truth is,
I'm just a zombie...

My Garden of Love

Welcome to my garden of love,
Pomegranates hanging from 'bove,
Peaches and apples do surround
Roses and dahlias abound,

Honeysuckle grows on the vine,
With gooseberries and cherries fine,
Lemons sprout and lilies grow tall,
As wisteria lines the wall,

You can sit amid mangoes sweet,
Read a nice book or have a treat,
Under the shade of tall brown trees,
Amidst flowers, where blows the breeze,

Welcome to my garden of love,
Here visits the silver white dove,
You'll enjoy to your heart's content,
And that is my garden's intent.

War and Peace

Lemons’ lemonade
Human kindness changed our fate
Forged us Love from hate

Every day war crimes
Today no lemonade times
When life gives us limes

Always and Never

Always taken for granted with sweet lies upon my grave,
always in a predicament with no more smiles to save,
always trying to be strong enough to show I can be brave,
always breaking my spirit from the love you never gave.

Never willing to hold hands even during my darkest times,
never bringing me peach dessert, only lemons and limes,
never practicing what you preach, I'm a victim of your crimes,
never ending nasty letters with cruel feelings and no rhymes.

Angel's Bath

Warm, liquid water
Rainbows of colors
Dancing bubbles
Tear drops from heaven
Roses and gardenias

Shimmering moon light
Luscious creams of lemons
Touched with love
Sprinkled in sparkles

Showers with honey dew
Dried with clouds
Trimmed in stars
Crowned in sun light

Seas of Aragon

Spanish glance
in fields of Aquinas cascades
fur lined trees
Lemons as sweet to taste
Wild African violets
New poetry
in the clothe of Aragon
the clasp of love indefinitely
the finesse of ease
near the village
breathing in
fairest church, moss side
Firmament bequeathed
at oceans ride

Peach Among Lemons

It's no secret, you know it's true
I love you today and the whole year through
How deep it runs if only you knew
My peach among lemons I'm so thankful for you

Tea On the Brain

I love nice Southern Sweet Iced Tea,
     in a glass or cup!
I try to sip it slowly
and try hard not to gulp!
The crushed ice bobbing gently,
     against my tea stained teeth,
makes it all the better,
when a hotdog I can eat!

I'm sipping now while sitting here
     in front of my PC,
and if you're getting thirsty,
you may soon be joining me!
Get out that little teapot.
     Boil water on the stove.
And steep those family teabags,
     cut lemons from the grove!

Then use that sugar freely,
to get the taste you like!
The tea will be delicious,
To me, it's worth the hike!

What's In a Name?

Autumn Rose Wood
Yep, that is me
Gotta thank my husband
He is such a sweetie!

I have had three last names
But that one I like best
It invokes magic and beauty
And natural lullabied rest

My mother, Aunts and Grandmother
All strong women
Picked my unchangeable first and middle
They all taught me so many things, my favorites are love of poetry and lemons

The sweet and the sour.
Shakespeare is sometimes wrong
A name
Can offer us a mountain to climb
A reason to strive
And memories to wrap around us like a blanket during the storm.

Fantasmal Walk Back

Fantasmal Walk back into line
limes and lemons keeping time
So like crisping bacon or drinking wine
Out of the box ...can you spare a dime?
Touch me with your lust devine
Hating you!...with each new rhyme

I Got Lemons

What does he say of love, how does he fall in love
Who does he love, and for how long
I want to learn love, feel it, and experiment with it
The world is mine to explore,
why shouldn’t I be able to do the same with love
This lyrical soldier has spun me into a virtual web
One unable to have physical existence
Who would have thought it could feel so real
Never knew these would be the cards life chose to deal
I have received lemons
And I made happiness

Lemons Know the Way

Lemons squeeze reality into tiny sour drops
Cherry pops on clouds turn red with envy
Apple blossoms fly through branches down
Which requires acrobatic accuracy astounding
Explosions are the foundation of reality
If they don’t wake you up than nothing will
Oranges fall from trees when shaken up
Bananas cost too much and come in bunches
Never trust them or their color to be ripe
When cherry bombs go pop, clouds disappear
Tranquility is another word for love dispersed
Ask tangerines for their opinions
Lemons wake us up to squinty faces
Gentle to the touch they grow on trees
Left alone they come in yellow squeezed

Love Like

love, love like lilies love light
adore admire and achieve
for fantastic fun future
it's idiolistic in itself
past present particular
join journeys

love like lemons love lime
for fiery future fulfilled
lovers last lifetimes
sweet songs so sour
beauty beast beats best

money makers move
for fickle fortune
other offers open
every escape exceeds
can't copy canopy's
admires admire afar

When Life Gives You Lemons

When life gives you lemons... make a delicious pie and smack em in the face with it!"

"When life gives you lemons.... say, thank you, I love lemons!"

"When life gives you lemons... make lemonade, set up a stand, and give it to anyone who is thirsty."

"When life gives you lemons... Thank God for the fruit. "

"When life gives you lemons... remember, without the sour, we can't appreciate the sweet."

Tambourine Tears

Tambourine tears fall with such grace
They actually make music on my face
A festival of salt on blackened skin
Pickled smile teasing the audience again
Bitterness is an acquired fruit
After fasting, it is at least something…to eat
A means of consuming protein…the meat
Of getting back to business and reconstructing
Changes shuttle as seasons flavor the wind
Like melting snow
The saltiness gives way to new perspective
Like lemonade from lemons
Tambourine tears begin to sing
Of jaded joy
Of laughter after loss
Of love and light again

A Reason

Wrinkled edges in my youth
Flesh, proximal to the bones
"solarised" Melanin, kindred to burnt sacrifice
Sketched bruises, signs of storms weathered
The "hour glass", a testimony of lemons through sands

Stitches in pattens
Indelible stamps of artistry
A picturesque of terror subjected
testament to the other side of the "honey pot "

Spirit in eternal warfare
Reality under scrutiny
Belief, far fetched
Embodiment of Confusion

Why Smile?, Push through?, Believe?, or Love?
................
HE, within me,
a reason for the reason.

Vibrant Matisse Vase

Firm,
Green vase,
With the curves,
Of a lovely woman,

Within,
You caress,
Tender,
Sweet,
Vibrancies,
Of,
Flowers,

That gaze,
Like dream,
Upon,
The mediterranean,
Shore,

Like an exotic woman,
Embraces,
Her love,
Her tears and laughter,
With bright lemons,
By her hem
