*A POEM FOR MY BELOVED NEICE*
I REMEMBER THE FIRST DAY I SAW YOU AND HELD
YOU IN MY ARMS
YOU WERE SO GENTLE, PRETTY, AND CALM
I REMEMBER THE DAY YOUR FATHER AND I GAVE YOU THE NAME “REE REE”
I NEVER KNEW TODAY YOU WOULD’NT BE ABLE
TO SEE ME
I HAD BIG PLANS FOR MY NEICE AND I
BUT I NEVER KNEW HER PLAN WAS TO MAKE
ME CRY
MY BABY RHIANNA YOU’RE GONE FROM MY SIGHT BUT NEVER FROM MY MINDI
PROMISE TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR BROTHER AND YOUR PARENTS
THEY WILL BE FINE
MY BABY MEMORIES OF YOU ARE HER E TO STAY
WE LOVE YOU “REE-REE”, I WILL SEE YOU IN
HEAVEN SOME DAY

How does 1 cut the hair on a head that's no longer here,
prolonged was the shadow with holding tender mercy.
With I left needy, no 1 to toast our final beer.
Since have I found no inner peace,
instead I poured your love into 3 neice.
Believing you flew free upon release,
back to the deck of the Cavalier,
moored off the Cape of Good Hope
where you finally found that you belonged there
Sat on the pier, red sky at night,
Gerard's delight...

family, love, niece,
such innocent beauty is yours
my tender, fragile soul
the light in your eyes
reflecting the true loveliness
deep within that does arise
your smile my dear
captivates the heart
as you lie in my arms so near
a true work of art ?

loss, memory, memory,
So much personality and drive,
everyday was a new suprise.
The love and joy that shun forth through your eyes,
is a memory that will never die in our minds.
It was much much to early for us to say goodbye.
To a beautiful young lady
that played such a prominent role in all of our lives.
Our cousin, our daughter, our neice, our friend.
Our love, our heart, now rests in peace.
No more worries, no more cries,
as much as it hurts, we must now dry our eyes.
We know the promise for her future,
and in Jehovah God's memory she lies.
One day she'll rise again
happy, energetic, perfect, full of life.

dedication
My aunt wanted me to write something espeacially for her,and as much as i like original's i
prefer the second draft to this one:
Maybe she's
cool
Maybe am a favourite neice
Of a shrink of love and peace
The cream
To my fruit
Exhausted samy
Cant have the kids on mute
Pasta sauce
"It's mint,not meat"
Shopping tour in rome
In her tiny shrunken feet
Ms.Riane
A dumbfounded shrink
And her neice
Who can't attend the sink
The shivering dutch trees
And a mashamba me
Will have in her heart
Her favourite aunty
(Mashamba:A swahelli word referring to someone who is not accustomed to something
commenly known in the modern word)

death
Broken promises, Shattered dreams,
Everyone says what nobody means,
Lost hope, Stolen smile,
Everything heals it just takes a while,
Life taken, Love hurts,
Time to brush off the unseen dirts,
Untold truths, Forbidden lies,
Wipe the tears from your drowning eyes,
Deafening scream, Unheard voices,
Everyone's faced with different choices,
Unseen honesty, Pounding heart,
You're incomplete when you fall apart,
Unfinished buisness, Crippiling pain,
No one here is truly sane,
Ripped soul, Unanswered prayers,
People around but nobody cares,
Lights out, Darkness around,
Now you're 6ft under ground,
Forgotten friend, Missed neice,
As you lay resting in peace.
