butterfly, love,
If I were a butterfly
would you love me more?
would you treat me delicately?
look deep into my core?
If I were a butterfly
would you let me land
on the tip of your finger
or let me play upon the sand?
If I were a butterfly
would you be gentle and nice?
breathe softly upon me
and kiss me lightly thrice?
If I were a butterfly,
alas I'd fly away
for staying with you, darling
there's quite a lot to pay.
If I were a butterfly
I'd rather my soul be free
Never tied to slavery
paying you too high a fee.
Yet if I were a butterfly
would you fly away with me?
Or always unfaithful, would you
fly away with a bumble bee?

happiness, how i feel, love, sea,
As we walk hand in hand
Today as we walk hand in hand
Happily through pure white sand
The love within my heart for thee
It flows to you so tenderly.
The ocean waves ebb to and thro
As hand in hand along we go
Bare feet in the silky sand
The sun shines down and life’s so grand
We stop, the two of us and kiss
Oh how nice to feel such bliss
As love matures we two, entwined
Such perfect sweetness we do find
Today as we walk hand in hand
Happily through pure white sand.

Persian Haiku 2
What a gorgeous view!
You and the flower garden,
I'm the butterfly.
Your eyes, the ocean;
The ocean colors your eyes.
Your hair is the wave.
Moon on the ocean,
Your face is the reflection.
Always be alone.
I live with my heart,
All flowers are beautiful,
I love daffodils.
What a discussion,
I had with all my flowers.
Their breath smells nice.

Huge red-orange sun slowly recede,
Upon the sky seem to bleed;
Whispers of night, calling home,
Such sunset days rarely spent alone.
Look ahead to starry skies;
Not time for early goodbyes.
Without love cannot the heart grow-
A new day comes beyond the rainbow!
Warm Paris breeeze gently blow-
Roses atop the bureau;
Music with a certain ease;
Smooth jazz, if you please.
In darkness of shadows, waits he!
The night is young-for me!
Stars appear, quiet avenue.
Farewell dawn skies of baby blue.
When from misty dreams awakes,
When tomorrow sunrise overtakes,
Come listen music play,
On gold terrace of the sunny day!

death,
Denouement, I beseech you, take your time.
I see you lurking closely by my gate.
I want to live and love and write my rhyme.
Go finish someone else’s tale. I’ll wait!
I need no resolutions in my life.
One moment to the next I’m glad to live.
I’ll take - along with good times- all the strife
along my path. Denouement, do not give
an early summing up to this nice plot
which is my life. Oh, let my climax be
a long way off! My final page is not
a page that I await too eagerly.
If my end is soon, don’t be forthcoming.
Let them say I never saw you coming!

We rested on God's daisy blanket,

Some nice fresh water from God's

We laid back in utter joy, setting up
glasses to catch such a blessed...
Heavenly drink.

I love the sense of air and light
Luna moths bring in me in the night
I wish I may I wish I might
Live a life so nice and tight
That some day I can return so bright
And be a luna moth in mid flight
Giving the world a sense of delight

nostalgia,
When the rain is really pouring down,
And the sky's overcast and grey,
I love how it freshens the streets of the town,
And watching the children play.
They chase each other and splash in the puddles,
Sail the seas in small paper boats,
Laughing, playing, running through the rain,
In their new brightly colored raincoats,
And nothing's quite like a nice warm bath,
After a walk in the rain.
Then I'll settle back with a hot cup of tea,
And watch it splash on my window pane.
The sound of the rain falling outside,
A nice cozy fire inside,
And I drift off to Dream Land,
With you here by my side.

Kindness is to show you care in any way
Kindness is giving something unselfishly
Kindness is to show respect to anyone we meet or know
Kindness is showing compassion when someone needs it to
Kindness is giving a sincere smile
Kindness is loving and caring for others
Kindness is saying a kind word or two
Kindness is being nice to each other
Kindness is not being rude to anyone
Kindness is spreading God's love to all.

ordinary
to have helping hands,

christmas, happy,
The time is after midnight, and I’m in the moment,
thinking how another Christmas has come and gone.
My spouse and I are tucked in bed, warm and cozy.
Outside, white beauty coldly blankets our front lawn.
Snickers, our new dog, sleeps peacefully between us.
The cat creeps up beside me now. How I love her!
How trusting are these creatures God gives us - how pure!
Our cat lies down by Snickers. I hear her soothing purr.
The visit with our daughter and her family was nice.
With gifts, glad hearts and tummies full, we traveled home.
More memories to cherish; the old year passes.
In the moment - grateful - I finish with this poem.

mother,
Job Well Done
Momma, when you died I ask God 'Why'
He answered me quickly 'HER JOB IS DONE'
I started to cry pleading out to God
'That's my mother and I love her Dearly'.
God simply wispered close to my ear
'That's my child and I love her Dearer'.
I did'nt give up moma I CRIED out more
'I want to make her happy in life
and give her things that's nice'.
I heard a strong voice right close
to My ear no wisper just clear.
'I HAVE HER JUST REWARD'
I understood momma than and there
that there's nothing on earth
good enough for you here. By: Nedra Wilson {NOLA Poet}

black love,
What love means to me is beyond definition
when you fall in love, it's a big transition
being in love is a very nice feeling
to stay in love, you and I have to be giving
What love means to me is like a sunray
love is something we have day by day
love means holding hands, walking in the park
love means hearing sounds of a lark
What love means to me, is a free expression
how you fall in love is your discretion
love is not, being takened for granted
but love is, that you've landed
What love means to me is choosing my mate
love is being able to communicate
love is taking romantic walks on the beach
this is what love means to me

Over the mountains
Sun shines in all its splendor
Beautiful trees stand out tall
Birds assemble there
Eagles soar right to the top
Wild flowers covers the ground
Blue mountains stand grand
Deers and bears roam all around
Eyes can't get enough nice scene
All trees seem to glow
You can feel God's loving touch
Breathe in enjoy all the view.

a trusted teacher

loyal, loving me for me

on one occasion
she set aside precious time
to study ALL of my work
yes, from first to last
offering kind opinions
on what she thought were my best...
she loathes the lazy
practice of copy/pasting
bland, boring comments
or: ‘Nice work! Love it! Congrats!’
(short but not so very sweet)
enough already!
she’s funny and fun
honorable and honest
sometimes brutally...

funny,
Could it be only yesterday we met?
This night together seemed so very right.
So nice to wake up to a happy face,
To find you with me still at morning light.
I dare not think my lonely days are done,
It is too soon to be so optimistic.
I must be patient, wait to see what comes,
Dampen my ardor, be more realistic.
Is this but the first of our shared breakfasts?
I fear I’ll frighten you with silly talk.
You must admit that we are good together.
I grab your leash and take you for a walk.

warm and cosy snuggle bed
too nice to get out of bed
too big for one it should be shared
crisp clean sheets, to curl the toes bed,
pack of pillows for my head.
duvet to wrap around me, bed
wish you served meals, need to be fed.
coffee and toast make it a special bed
crumbs to lie on, isn’t good it’s said
best you throw me out, get a shower,
oh bed, can I sneak back in an hour,
my bed I love you.

>I do love food.
When I was young, food was rationed.
So much of this, or that, you were allowed.
Each person had a ration book for adults and a child.
So much butter so much sugar, a few ounces of meat.
If you grew your own produce, fresh veg was a treat.
And what was put on the table, you did love to eat.
Many years have passed, and food is not rationed anymore.
The choice on the supermarket shelf, tells there is no sign of war.
Now we are leaving the EU, what will the supermarkets do?
Will the shelves be empty and bare?
Or will more British produce be for sale there.
I do love food, so hope it’s there.
British, nice with a price that’s fair.<

What is my shoe size,
are my jeans tapered or loose,
do I wear the low riders,

Is my perfume,

how many times have you told me,

dedication, friendship, hope, inspirational, introspection, life, love, autumn,
When autumn comes to drop it's leaves.
Unreconciled, the branches greive.
To enter winter's long goodbye.
Awaiting spring, again to sigh.
Amidst the heat of summer's sun.
The planted seed will soon be done.
Only the rain of heavens love.
Can help the plant rise up above.
The seasons we all have to live.
Are waisted if we don't forgive.
A heart that's full of pain and sorrow.
Requires hope to meet tomorrow.
When someone needs a helping hand.
It's nice when they can join the band.
To know that they can sing along.

It is composed in quatrains line
That's not hard at all when done fine
This French style you can do right
Kyrielle is easy to write
Eight syllables per line in all
In each one you observe this call
There's rhyming all through to delight
Kyrielle is easy to write
Repeat the B in last line verse
You'll make a nice piece to diverse
And style to enjoy day or nite
Kyrielle is easy to write.
