They Walk Amongst Us

They walk amongst us, but in silent ways, spreading peace and love without any praise. When thunder roars and lightning strikes in rain they watch over us, healing bleeding pain. Yet we do not see their celestial light, nor do they shed feathers within our sight. Happy to hide behind unknown faces, empathy guides them to deprived places. Heal and soothe, they prevent tears from flowing, touch our hearts to leave our spirits glowing. From Sydney to London, Rome to Bombay, provide moments that take our breath away Their acts of grace form a ripple effect, kind gestures that help people to connect.

Am I

AM I ?

Am I Just Standing Here, or Am I Just Dead?
Am I So Full Of Fear, I Lost Myself Instead?

Am I A Nobody, that you can't defend me?
OR
Am I Just Invisible, and you really don't pretend.

Am I Blind, Or I Just Don't Wish To See?
The Love I Cannot Find Is Right In Front Of Me!

Am I Hearing the Truth,
Or Have I Just Been Deceived?
Who Can I Trust?
Who Can I Believe?

Am I So Mad I Just Can't Understand,
Or Am I So Sad I Need A Shoulder And A friend?

Is It Just Me,
Or Am I All Alone?

Still Waiting

You loved me just a little
You never loved me long;
But you gave my soul serenity
And gave my heart a song.

You loved me for a moment
I found it in your eyes;
But your mouth I could not capture
By temptation or surprise.

Sweet lips that I remember
With a poignant surge of pain
As one remembers fragrance
Of the softly falling rain.

Within this world of wonder
Without warning I feel sad;
The dream I hold still haunts me
For the kiss I never had.

Love's Eternal Death

The hollow eyes of love are never gone
They keep within the waves of trembled tears
From days so poor when love was looked upon
And one where the deepest pain adheres
They give my eyes of love such sad refrain
To think that love would ever be so cruel
And find it was illusion self-contain
When love so grand became so minuscule
To hold love once in dreamer's mind I've flown
And found the point of rest its final breath
To know I will forever be alone
Cry now as then for its eternal death
I found a love to hold and saw it die
Inside depth of darkest pain, I ask why

Love's Reflection

Love neither gives or takes but from itself. Be not wiled by fantasies of arrogance. Take no more than is offered by yourself. Leave nothing trapped in tortured irrelevance. Seek not a barter for desires that sue your heart. Worthiness is the only tender that comes due. Suffer willingly the melody of pain it may impart. Bleed joyfully from the wounds that will ensue. As tree branches lift their hopes towards Heaven's door, hands together reaching higher than alone will seek heights that love's imagination most beautifully implores that from a poets words unending ecstasy must speak. Whatever you desire your life to be, may loves reflection be all you see

Earth Life Purpose

It’s my belief we all are here because
God wishes us to know both joy and pain
to learn of life, and also we have flaws
so we’re on earth to reach a higher plane.

Our life experiences help us to find
those attributes we’re in possession of
that we can use to benefit mankind.
God wants for us to bless the world with love.

By knowing sorrow, we will also grow
to more appreciate the good in life.
Of insecurities we must let go
and trust in God to see us through our strife.

Our purpose then most simply put is this:
to grow in grace so we might taste of bliss.

Forgiveness

As dawn would bring no daylight without dark
empty night; the clearest day no beauty hold
without the dreary rainstorm's dismal mark.
As spring would bring no rebirth without cold
winter sleep; the fallen snow no cleansing
without the ashen stain of fall. As love
would bring no healing without the stinging
wounds of hate; and laughter give no joy of
gladness without the woeful tears of pain.
As peace would have no glory in its quest
without the fear of war. Life's thrill would wane,
no meaning hold, without the awe of death.
As heaven is no prize without hell's fires therein;
forgiveness is no virtue without the sinner's sin.

Hope, a Little Remained

Hope, A Little Remained

She walked the creaking floors of the rat-infested room,
trying to remember what tragedy had sent her to this shabby place.
Her heart felt the desperate pains, that lost love sends in aching waves,
praying her sleeping infant does not wake and cry out from its feverish thirst.

He paced the cold cell, languishing in deep misery, heart shattered,
each step an eternity echoing curses, a testament to his broken pride.
Although thousands of miles apart, he felt her loss, never-ending sorrows,
dawn would come, priest would take his last confession, yet Hope remained.

Within Her Heart

Within her heart is where I wish to be
To dwell inside the garden of her soul
Where each soft heartbeat plays a symphony
And all around is beauty to behold

The sunshine of her love would keep me warm
My one desire, to take life's pain away
Consoling her when clouds of sadness form
Removing troubles of each stressful day

Should something cause her fragile heart to break
I'd gather up the pieces tenderly
With love I'd smooth the sharpness of heartache
Then put them back together lovingly

Within her heart is where her beauty lies
Her love, the light that shines within her eyes

Beautiful Mysteries

Divinity lives beyond description Alone, a weary heart cries from its pain Desire eager for its conscription Might truth and love turn this way again? Sweet mysteries, this life, in dreams of thee Yield fantasy's passion I dare to share Walk from this muse, I pray to live in me Conceding this, my love, unto your care On lifeless shadows, cast your glowing light Bring a blessed presence to this peace I seek Rest too this solemn shade, this endless night With angelic verse, but you could only speak For seeking dreams to dream from up above I cast my will and fate to seek your love

One Last Embrace

My whispered words trail to a halt
Her sobbing muffled by the wind
Beneath our faithful trusted tree
Concealed from Luna’s prying eyes
We share the pain of anguished hearts
As time draws near for us to part
And take divergent paths of life
To quell the urge of bridled love.
When dawn approaches we shall leave
With nothing else but memories
Unloosing hands from this embrace
Our shattered dreams can’t be replaced.

Can a child ever forget, how deep a mother’s love abides

All those days since birth, till now I’m grown she guides

Remembering her smile, so tender, so warm as her embrace

More than soothes away my pain, my fear of failure and disgrace

Even in my dreams she comforts, her voice, her scent would stay

Never will her being mother stop, till when I’m old and gray.

The Poetess

Words flowing like magic, explode off my page
Taking me on journeys, I didn't seek
My mind is just floating, feelings do race
Her spirit is leading, to heaven I think

Reading but living, each chosen word
Caught up in beauty, emotions I trace
My heart is a flutter, tears sometimes fall
In awe of her verses, as much as her grace

Passion and love, I can feel her heartbeat
Sorrow and pain, mistakes made again
Dancing with nature, you take me by hand
Simply you're beautiful, I'm in love with your pen

Spilling of emotions, out onto the page
Poems come alive, for sure they are real
Confide in me please, all that's concealed
My dearest poetess, you make me feel

The Treasure of Birth

It's hard to describe
that true sense of pride

that comes with the worth
of your babies birth

A child takes your heart
right from the start

and wills you to sow
a love destined to grow

From dress ups to cupcakes
from boo-boos to heartbreaks

it's all worth the pain
from the treasure we gain

Time spent together
can only be measured

in memories we hold
as part of our soul

God keep this life
from turmoil and strife

give it love and care
and blessings to share

For all that we ask
is that we're up to the task

and do all that we must
to honor your trust.

Life On the River

A balance in life can solve the riddle.
To find the balance, start in the middle.
Distractions from the banks may lead us wrong.
Go with the flow where the current is strong.

The banks are sirens calling to our ears,
offering us pleasures relieving fears.
The emotion of love, the fear of pain,
tossing and turning, driving us insane.

Too much pleasure can lead to addiction,
pain and sickness can lead to restriction.
Reject their temptations, stay in the flow,
the river is wise and knows where to go.

Avoid extremes, be content with enough.
Life on the river, no need for the fluff.

Flowers of the Heart

The garden of love bids tending
so often it pains us to render its due
when drought offers threat
and water is scarce
and lovers forget what it means to be true

Yet love, like a garden, rewards us
the flowers of the heart are worth all the pain
how else can we reap
that beautiful yield
with little to lose and with so much to gain

When I think of where we first started
with just the horizon to capture our view
my eyes now behold
what a garden can be
with effort and love to carry it through

Fueled By Love

Grief hides itself
behind a veil
of anger, fear, and disbelief,
and yet, it invades your every thought.
Inside, you want to lash out
at death;
to send the hurt back!
Grief clings to death,
and in so doing
devastates the living.
Your world shrinks
to memories,
reflected in pools of tears.
And life loses its spark,
a part of you is missing
leaving a hole in your heart.
Time is but a concept
of the mind,
as flimsy as a thought;
it has no power over grief.
And yet, there is something
stronger than time
that can numb the pain,
and that is faith... fueled by love.

Remember To Mind Your Reason

In the darkest of times
be the light of a candle
but the harshest of crimes
to let melt your candle

***
Give, unmindful of a reason
feel the heavy burden light
remember to mind your reason
fill your very soul with Light

***
Like a delicate dove
bathe into sweet waters well
feed on the seeds of Love
reach not the bottom of its well.

Entertainer-Anacreontic Couplets

Charmed by her exotic glance She enchants a sexy dance In costumed display of art Strumming rhythms of joyful heart Choreographing slow grooves In graceful, musical moves As gestures paint passion themes And song of love stokes their dreams When desires-enamored spree Hypnotized in tunes of glee But look closely, watch her sigh Hear the bawl of tearless cry When crowds deceitful extol Exhibit of anguished soul As smiles aesthetic hide pain And feigned visage cries disdain Cheer for her to turn the page For she longs to leave this cage Leave realms inebriated Of drunk notions, ill-fated

I Need Your Help Daddy

I’m tired
I’m Physically and Emotionally tired
I don’t want to be the strong one anymore
I can’t this time
I don’t know what to do Daddy
I need your help down here

I can’t get back in control of my emotions
I’m having a hard time dealing with your absence
I’m having a hard time standing by myself
I need your help Daddy

I’m broken and lost without you Daddy
I need your will to want to carry on
I need your strength to over come this
I need your strength to stay standing
Your courage to fight back again
I need your help

Please Daddy I’m at a loss
How am I suppose to do this
I need your guidance
I need you to guide me back
To whom I was before
I need your help Daddy
I need your help

The Stone

Alone in a meadow in the pouring rain
I find the stone that causes all my pain,
As I stumble through the fog in disbelief
I fall down upon my knees and sob in grief

The fog horn cries her mournful sound
As my heart falls down, beneath the ground
Crying out to God for mercy all in vain
To take away the stone that bears your name

Behind Those Beautiful Eyes

Behind those beautiful eyes,
So much anger,so much mistrust,
Always expecting the worst,
Always conversing about the bad
things life has to offer,

Behind those beautiful eyes,
So much hurt,so much pain,
Bottled up bad experiences overflowing,
Crying to be unleashed,to be released,

Behind those beautiful eyes,
High expectation,countless plans,
Many things to still achieve,
So many things you still haven't done,

Behind those beautiful eyes,
Is a body,searching for comfort,
A mind,searching for peace,
And a heart searching for true love,

All behind those beautiful eyes.....

Follow Your Heart

Follow Your Heart Father Time has brought us safely thus far And our future is not tied to some distant star. We’ve always had each other’s arms That kept us together and safe from all harm. Yet, all our yesterdays now stand alone. And we know that tomorrow is not cast in stone, Where once we saw happiness, now there is pain It seems memories and heartaches are all that remain. So, when life seems the darkest and troubles appear And all the world’s dangers, alarmingly near, Remember our love - let it play its part And don’t be afraid to follow your heart. Whispers of Your Soul

I wanted to hear your whisper
Yet I could only hear you shout
Your soul filled with all it's turmoil
Filled my own heart with so much doubt

By holding tightly to our pain
Silence became extremely loud
The softer notes within reason
Couldn't be heard above our proud

Were we lovers of the darkness
Cutting through silence with our knives
Shredding perceived insecurities
In hopes of saving our own lives

Some dances were not meant to be
I heard the anguish in your voice
You took a walk, didn't look back
Loving another was your choice

Then I heard a different whisper
Bubble up, from inside of me
Lessons learned, from a broken heart
Meant freedom from insanity
