To Touch the Untouched

She is soothing music, but an unwritten script. A silent movie, but visually, cinematic elegance. Infatuated lyrics thirst to compose onto tones of her curves. Her tongue is a sensual dance, a serenade of sensitive sensations. Her lips a path to pristine passion, her eyes a gateway to heaven. But she is grandeur of purity, a distinction of innocence. Fate must learn patience, in the pursuit of desire.

You

You lined the clouds with silver,
You pushed away the rain.

You lifted some of my burdens
and shared with me my pain .

You gave me your most precious treasures,
A value no man can adjust.

Freely given without measure,
your loyalty ,patience ,and trust.

You eased my fears with confidence
and held sacred all my flaws,

Diminishing their apparent affect
through eyes of a higher cause.

You taught me how to appreciate
all that one can be,

Encouraged me through the eyes of love
to invest in a possibility.

Now I can line the clouds with silver and push away the rain again,

For through you I have seen that the greatest gift
is the gift of being a friend.

My Mom

My mother was your average country mom
She wasn't gorgeous. Some might call her "plain"
But had the patience to diffuse a bomb
Her eyes grew narrow, when I caused her pain

She never raised her voice nor slapped my face
Still taught me right from wrong and not to lie
Made sure I bowed my head when dad said grace
Encouraged me to find new things to try

And even though she worked, twas not for greed
She took great pleasure from the "simple things"
She told me, "Faith in God," was all one needs
That real love doesn't come with any strings

My mother was as gentle as a dove
My prayer this Mother's Day, she knows she's loved

In Forbearance

Where was I
when repo men invaded,
possessed,
boxed me up within his cool heart
fragrant in its distaste of warmer climates?
You know,
climates governed by love.
(Daydreaming of knights, that's where.)

Now I have only so much patience remaining
for this slapstick brain-
a nasty reminder, the heckler of my heart,
what spews sensibility
when I simply yearn to err.

And I scarcely have time to mourn
his devil's smile
leaving southward in moving vans
transporting my pieces
(all the valid ones)
with him
as I sit numbed,
next to climbing ivy poisoned by my disbelief,
broken
unpaid for.

Woman

Woman

The stars bestowed your eyes
The moon, your cherry red lips
The sun, that light in your mind
Heaven, those gold finger tips

The oceans surrendered your hair
Your form, fashioned by tides
Rivers tempered the spirit
Where patience and love resides

Strength, came from the mountains
The wind, sweet lullabies
Volcano’s forged the Passion
That lives in soul filled eyes

But where, oh where is completion
Makes the pulse race and dart
For this, woman must wait
Till a man, gives her his heart.

Buttercup

BUTTERCUP

hope life is like a buttercup
cos this old fool does care
if i was there I’d kiss you but
you might object "how dare"

perhaps I shouldn’t call the tune
and bring you to my sight
attraction brings the moth too soon
if I don’t employ it right

patience like a cattle dog
who lays there in the shade
connected not, just like the frog
before a prince was made

A Triolet For My Mother

You never cease amazing me how all these years you loved us so; we tried your patience you’ll agree. You never cease amazing me for in this life no guarantee a person’s love they will bestow. You never cease amazing me how all these years you loved us so.

The Fruits of Patience

Patience
can be
a great gift.

We should
wait patiently
as life unfolds
before us.

There are lessons
to learn and things
to experience
in life.

As we daily grow
in wisdom,
truth and
Love.

Thoughts of the Day

We have a laugh, and drink a beer,
Play some golf, and hunt for deer.

Your patience and wisdom, is without test,
Your confidence and clarity, is at its best.

Mentor and Dad, is what you are,
Saved and glad, your faith will go far.

I’m thankful and blessed, with a father like you,
Proud at its best, for the little things that you do.

Love and care, are words that I say,
Friendship to share, on Happy Father’s Day!

The Love of Roses

Perfect purple petals adorn this stunning rose Sweetly smelling scent drifts gently to my nose Nestling in my bouquet is this stunning flower Sheer perfection, I stare at it hour on hour The rose can hide a secret, a nasty pointed thorn It can hurt you deeply of this I must you warn The path of true love doesn’t always run smooth With patience and love these issues you’ll soothe A stunning red rose is a symbol of true love Their velvety petals sent from heaven above Be sure of your love when he does propose Cherish your love like this delicate rose Jan Allison 18~12~14 Written too late for contest:-(

Waiting For Any Woman

Be patient
be very very patient
after that
add more patience
then wait
and wait
and wait and wait and wait
become a waiter
at least you will be paid to wait

When she finally finally arrives
give her the biggest smile you possibly possess
tell her, "Hello love, you are early and
looking very majestically beautiful my sweet!
what have you done to your hair love?"
since you have waited a century or two or three
it's a safe gamble she has, and you my friend
will be a big winner.

Therefore when you wait and wait and wait
be a winner
even skeletons
smile

Finding Time To Love Again

We talked about poetry
Over cups of coffee and cigarette
In a café full of prowlers of pleasure
And skippers of wisdom
On a wintry day
That was numbing my patience

The bitter taste of coffee
Energized my words,
Fluttering like cherry blossoms of spring,
Right from my heart, timid, but with lots
Of rhyme to offer,
And it beat
Faster than the hands of time
As I looked at you
With your eyes, teasing...

And I almost forgot
To take my «I love you, Dad» kid from school
‘Cause of your Angelina Jolie
Lips that giggled my widowed soul

Softly

Gentle the touch of smooth brushing kisses
Softly I'll come to you, Softly I will
Tender the night of eye's hungered wishes
Calm are the hearts beating faster still
Warm is the breath that caresses the spaces
When love is the spring of time's winding clock
Tremors from fingers that leave trailed traces
Gives patience a key that opens love's lock
Lost in the moment where melding is King
Traveling in sync from rushes within
Paradise is found in flights without wing
Sacred, vulnerable rejoicing in

Time is in motion and time will stand still
Softly I'll come to you, Softly I will

SUMITRA

Saying that invisible and unseen is God,
Ultra divine powers I saw in my mother's lap,
Mannequins could turn alive with her one touch,
Inspiring and motivating is her immense love,
Tolerance and patience is she embellished with,
Reminisce the times she nurtured me in affection,
Admire His blessings for me on this earth !!

Mom

Mother's love is something that no one can explain, It is made of deep devotion and of sacrifice and pain, A Mother is one who understands the things you say and do Who always overlooks your faults and sees the best in you Thank you... For standing by me through thick and thin For not giving up on me when I didn't win For your patience when I kept pushing you away For caring even when I didn't need it anyway! For everything you have done, and all that you do, I'm fortunate and lucky, to have you! I love you mummy. Happy mother's day

The Rose

One ready for pictures
Always in a pose,
Photogenically prepared
Stands The Rose

With the depthening and bolden
Color of red,
Appear it’s strong petals
Without the despairing thought of shed

...The association of love
Under any weather,
Only for the purpose
Of making her day better

...So perfect and so steady
Is the Rose that you see,
But what some don’t recognize
Is the mess it used to be...
With beauty comes time
With time comes love,
And with love comes patience
And that patience has sprung.

To Leave the Old World

Each new day my treasured thoughts you lay claim
As minutes stretch and I search for patience
Restlessness arrives and your love I blame
As it calls to my heart with reverence
Nothing collides with the world but you
As time becomes much harder to replace
This love shared without hesitation is new
Soon to pour into a river of grace
To hold this moment without care or thought
And keep it close as a gift now treasured
In love's place of rest, neither bought nor sought
The love within our eyes is not measured
As two follow the course of love's strong stream
They leave the old world for one with a dream

Mental Shoes

There is a delusional vision inside me
Full of eternal love and mental bliss
Is that vision so un-comprehendible?
For the vision now seems so far wretched

What is it like to live one day completely insanely free?
For I cannot remember the very last time
My disease did not entirely consume me

Control and patience they say;
These remedies seem very far and few
For walk a path of insanity just once
Then you’ll see what it’s like
To walk a mile inside my mental shoes

Blind Love's Imagination Blue....

If roses are red,if violets are blue
then why can't I touch the colors of you

If sugar is sweet,as your love is true
then why can't I taste your nectar of dew

If time means patience, good things who wait
then why do I feel as an anxious state

If the moon is silver,if the sun is gold
then somewhere inbetween, you I should hold

If the sky is blue,as the sea is too
then also as I,feelin' blue without you......

Mother

11:07 AM 8 May 2012

Mothers love
Mothers have patience
 Mothers remember when and understand
 Mothers protect and nurture
 Mothers listen and impathize
 Mothers correct and explain
 Mothers play and teach
 Mothers hold and be quiet
 Mothers laugh and smile
 Mothers cry and pray
 Mothers smile
Is this you or someone you should be.
Mothers are like dads they make mystakes too
But they always love you no matter what you do

Happy Mothers day Aunt Virgie and thank you for all you are

The Sin

A Sin

In a daze attacked by bullets of pain
Sharp stings to the heart and soul
Another lie opens up for a rear view
The hour of departure reaches its goal
For in a field of gold lies the inevitable
My patience to unravel the truth
Like a shadow on a wall she moves
Destroying what’s left between me and you

“Shine until tomorrow. Let it be.” John Lennon and Paul McCartney

Kindness is what we need today.
Patience, love, and forgiveness too.
If people do not think your way,
try hard to see their point of view.

Be gentle as a summer breeze.
Be not a tempest bellowing.
Be the sea when after unease,
its tranquilness shines – mellowing.

Be not a tree stubborn to grow,
withholding the fruit it could bear.
Willow-like bend; let your hate go,
and behold your heaven’s first stair.

Take that first stair to heaven. See
more stairs that appear one by one.
To quote two’s wise words: “Let it be.”
Shine your light, and let peace be won.

Good Mother

A sun amongst dark stars in the blue sky,
A rose in the forest of wild flowers,
Her benevolence makes men not to cry,
Her tantalizing love falls like showers,
Mind and patience taller than many towers.

Honest Confessions

With knees deep in ice.
I keep deep in cold.
I was born lucky, am nice.
With dope I uphold.

You can't fool me twice,
But if you do, I play it cool.
With time you pay the price.
I can never call you a fool.

I was born into patience.
All I know is love.
I live each day with a difference.
Am still trying to evolve.

I am hard to love, I know.
Am equally hard to let go.
But I ain't too dumb to know.
That you reap what you sow as you go.

I put family first
For they are my everything.
I have issues with trust.
I hate breaking.

Swallows In the Fog

Moisture coated chair and table
     Silvery fog everywhere
Birds sing happily 'pon wet limbs
A few fly in thick air

The Swallows are back flying high
     Hunting bugs over fields
Their sonar a guide where sight fails
     Bouncing off bugs their peal

My thoughts like a three ring circus
     Bouncing around in my head
Foggy confusion dominant
Time on the porch clear dread

My free time soon to diminish
     Noise, bedlam will increase
Lord, help we take it with patience
     Let my spirit love release

For every good thing there is a bad thing to counter act the joy....
