bible, inspirational, woman,
I love my mother-in-law,
I admire her way of life,
I look at her God in awe,
Who’s led her through deaths and strife,
I followed her to her land,
Leaving my people behind,
My God had great blessings planned,
Family love, I did find,
Though I am a Moabite,
In the lineage of Christ,
I’ve found a place, such delight!
God’s Grace and Love have sufficed.

childhood, christian, courage, life, love, mother, mothers day,
Dear Lord thank You for a mother
who stayed through it all with us,
who has shown us the way to church,
because in You today I trust.
Thank You for every hardship she faced
for she has taught us sacrifice
now I can give my all to You,
nothing else would have sufficed.
Thank You Lord for all her toil
because she represents great strength
for even in adversity
she persevered through great a length.
If anyone be candidate
let it be her You honour Lord
for You know all about her struggle
and surely You are her reward.
I praise You greatly for Her life
my life without her could not be,
show her Your favour without measure
for everything she's meant to me.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

absence
Staring into an empty sea-blue Picasso.
Winking, blinking and greasing my wet nose,
Trying to discerpher the rune in my upper
torso.
To see, if I shall for once, think strait.
Then upon my thoughts, I sat;
Thoughts of her; and of her.
Thoughts, that once sufficed the brute, I was,
And of odysseys across her angelic form.
Of Rome, Greece and savage Persians,
Of wars waged and love made.
Of souls of immortals slain,
And of odysseys across her angelic form.
So, I laid upon my sweaty quill.
Yet in my long ashored ado.
Scribling; scribling upon a wet cotton
napkin;
Thoughts of her; and of her alone.

The LORD* is my life’s essence
…without Him, I’m absolutely nothing
The Bread of life granting contentment fullness
…without Him, my need can’t be sufficed
The Light illumining truth radiance
…without Him, I’m engulfed with ignorance obscurity
The Saviour for eternal redemption
…without Him, my soul faces hell’s wrath forever
The good Shepherd offering love, blissfully perfect
…without Him, I’m always lacking.
*Psalm 23:1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

daughter, divorce, life, lost, love, love hurts, relationship,
Although for you with all my heart I loved,
now my forever burning shaming pain,
my heart an unexpected dagger shoved,
stunted minds confusion, waves of disdain.
Long Winter nights, sheltered you with my warm,
joyous moments of Spring, truly embraced,
Summers of heat and shine, our loves platform,
Autumn abrupt fall from seasons, now faced.
Togetherness a shoot for us adorned,
blooming sprouts developing as promised,
all blossoms thistles abound, never warned,
my love and care given never sufficed.
Separate paths, inevitable now,
my child’s tears but her happiness I vow.

EYES
Eye lash flashed, sparkled at your blink.
Glance reflected, set at naught right
sufficed my look to be caught tight.
Passion of vortex flowed to sink.
My thirsty eyes sent looks to slink.
Ardent ardor shone as spot light
Restless urge, wobbling heart brought fight.
Eyes met, looks reflected on brink.
False, fake wrath of face had no link
with depth of love as eyes bought bright
Desire reflected on hot night.
Closing eyes, come close to blush pink.

Submissive to God, we’re steadfast for His kingdom*
---Endued with His wisdom to enjoy willingness’ freedom.
Secured in the Saviour, we’re settled in His redemption’s assurance
---Exposed to Scriptures’ truth to overcome fatal ignorance.
Satisfied by Christ, we’re sufficed by His grace
---Enveloped within His love around His compassion-embrace.
Seeking the Almighty, we’re shaped through His victory-might
---Enabled by His power, intensified by light.
Serving the Lord, we’re set for reaching-out
---Exercising full reliance upon His Word midst faith-bout.

Standing* upon the Saviour’s scriptural standards…
Safe am I within His sanctifying security
Sealed by His salvation-steadfastness
Serving sincerely as His steward
Striving to please Him with faith that’s shining
Spirit-filled in worshipping in His sanctuary
Satisfied by His blessings surely
Sufficed with His grace for labour-steadfastness
Strengthened upon His fortification-settlement
Sheltered in His love, together with fellow saints.

beautiful, friendship love,
You came one raining night
You stepped out of the machine of flight
Talks by the candle light
Whispers of things so nice
Feelings of lust inticed
Those meetings in Taunggyi, the city of snowflakes and ice
The secrets that we kept from them
Though secrets kept, love sufficed
My Aldebaranian soldier of celestial fights
Your hair is like the color of ebony night
Your skin is like the color of the yellow sun light.

lost love,
Her love was like a river,
unforgiving,
rushing wild and free,
and I, just and impulsive observer on her slope;
I pondered the thought of being caressed by her,
Being enveloped by her touch;
It all seemed so refreshing and innocent
From the safety of the brae;
Soon it no longer sufficed
merely to observe her beauty,
just to be near her.
Visits became more frequent
Until I waded into her water
And she rushed over me;
I was drawn deep into an eddy
To be forever swept away to a watery grave.

love,
She goes to shower, leaving her nakedness
On the bed and I go out wearing it on my soul
Looking for eggs, milk and fresh-baked garlic breads
The sky is now full of clouds, their shapes
Resemble my friends, relations. It rained last night
Inside the room, soaked and drenched we searched
For each other, in darkness, wrote our names on
Each other’s back. But I reckon, calling each other’s
Name out would have sufficed. You see, it’s all like poetry
That doesn’t have a place to reach. That doesn’t want
To hold hands and say—“au revoir, keep well”.
