Soulmate

If you were to come to me Wow
In sight unseen before now
No longer just a vision of your smile

I would want to walk right up and
 wrap my arms around you

Sigh and say ....
"Finally my life is complete"
I prayed that before heaven
      we would meet

" I've Always Loved You
    my precious soulmate"
You are my fate...

Oh your lips look so sweet
then you would sweep me off of my feet.

Imagine That

If there was no crime
No hurry for time
No genocide
No homicide
If there was no mothers burying their sons
If mankind didn't invent guns
If schools still had prayer
If everybody recognize Jesus Christ as our savior
If there was love and respect
No hate between white and black
No homeless
No loneliness
No wars
No rich or poor
No accidents or disasters
If man only served one master (God)
Imagining is good for all it's worth
Heaven is definitely not planet earth

Only In You I See

Tap dances on steps to sanctuary sites
glued to visions felt from glory's grace
only in you I see
reflected in orbs of watchful care
dipped in mocha swirls
as time slowly disappears
a sense of attention
focusing on more than just an outer me

Soft shoe shuffles within the breeze
wistful remembrance and dainty dreams
filling the fragrant air
with a gust of evergreen
calling ever so calmly
for opened eyes and hearts
to harbor a frail humanity
and follow a simple way

Truths of Gold

Manna gestures of kindness,
mercy dew
	           distilled
		                 upon
every eye-opening dawn

Silver deeds of love ~ pure fruits of the Spirit
		   bring forth
Truths of gold ... Eternity reigns from above

This poem was inspired
by the talented poetess, Besma Riaba Dziri's
transcendent poem, "Blessings"

Oneness

I dream of a day
when there is total blending.
Like sombiant in host.
the self extension that is self.
Total penetration in each other.
The discussion of eyes,
the echo of embrace.
My time wants in your love,
like brook surrounds stone
like breeze shivers tree.

Breathe

This dance feels resurrected
Right down to the cherry stains on your sleeve
And the tapestries that look like iron will
But are really shadows cleverly woven to imply it.

I can not see here
The lights are too low
But sometimes things are better seen
When lit by the lanterns of the mind instead.

They look brighter
Redder
Closer to real
Than real could ever be.

We were here once before
A thousand years ago give or take a century.
I spoke with a carnelian tongue
You tasted like pomegranate seeds.

Going back there again
Carrying that same tune
Becoming crimson
Becoming other
Breathe

I lost my breath
You gave me yours
You held me
You said
Breathe

Love Is

...love is comparable to a waterfall.
Forever running; never a drought.

Love is true, pure, and natural:
Up-springing life, over and over:
Filled to the brim of the bank,
Everlastingly at it.

Love continuously flows
From one temple to another:
Heart to heart.

Love is...

Love and Technology

The stars up yonder glitter in one accord
The fast moving clouds shaped like a blunt sword

The fireflies in the distance light up our meadow
Their lights cast sparingly on our corning glass window

Our mansion was carefully crafted and built
In the country side, it has this magnificent tilt

Made of expensive material and state-of-the art technology
It was a beauty to behold considering its unique topology

My wife lay on the third floor of an enchanting bedroom
Kissing and caressing sloppily her handsome groom

And voice-commanding the lights to give us some privacy
As we gradually climbed to technological ecstasy

Enough

I will die
here at the doorsteps
of your heart wondering
why you let
me come so
close and yet you kept
me so
distant

A wall of
ice and glass
prevents me from
any
further move

Gasping for my
last
breathe I am
left
to guess what it takes for
you
to give up plans and
schemes and
surrender
to love

When you will
finally
open that door my
corpse
will greet you
frozen and you will not
be
able to ever
resuscitate me.

Who Taught Love Only Not Hate

Oh! God
Simply free boundary…less…lovely God…………………………………………………....
Almighty Omnipresent……. every where………..unthinkable with material sense
no definition in words of any material body of any formations…..
Just who truly devote as per His deserved standard
With the strength of strength of unselfishness and egoless feeling
Blessed a tiny light out of Him
With that light who are blessed
He loves His Diamond sons much………..
Feel Jesus…. Adi Shankaracharya, Sai Baba, Rama Krishna…..Shankardev....Madhabdev....Hazrat Mohammad…

Sonnet I : Ink and Nothing Else

Freedom differs on how each men define it,
like the love of autumn or cold of winter.
Vast it may be but meaning is implicit,
so vast that no soul can ever hinder.

I define liberty as a pen and paper.
Mere it is , but my understanding is sure.
What is simple for you, to me strikes deeper.
Thin a paper be , but it lasts to endure.

The glory of ink is immeasurable,
for a tender soul of mine to comprehend.
Though age has numbers, I am an example,
of a generation's hope for we to ascend.

May the world be courageous to project art.
Like this sonnet , this is where I start.

- Harmony In Diversity -

~ The creation is as white marble for our soul -
holy and without blemish ~ quote by poet

Her lips hum an aged love song
                                   a virgin glowing intensely
Golden arches of lily of the valley
drinking from the river of silver
Whose strings are touched by the heart's secret
                            - what divinity with a visionary magic

From Sultry Eyes.

Seeping heavy under my skin
Shivering inception
Calming from its wisping caress
Tenderly soothing

Reaching with tendril like fingers
Lithe and satin
Permeating through my veins
Enveloping essence

Taming the maelstrom within me
Purity embracing
Divulging the rains of promise
Cleansing shame

Defusing against the flow of time
Forever young
Standing open in naked candor
Unselfish passion

His Worth

Touched by His wisdom,
my heart now clear,
upon His shoulders,
I cast my fears.
His word is genuine,
as was His birth,
the truth He spoke,
revealed His worth.
Riches, not important,
they mattered not,
but those that knew Him,
never forgot.
Kings were frightened,
of this kind, warm man,
they never listened,
how could they understand.
Then an Angel,
came in the night,
He arose from the grave,
can you imagine the sight.
His new home Heaven,
by His Fathers side,
waiting to welcome us,
this is the reason He died.
Now it is CHRISTmas,
and we rejoice His Birth,
but still some people,
don't understand His worth.

The Curtain of Pain Fell Upon Us

The cotton runs high in the Taliban sky
Resistance continues, into the south.
I watch nightly news with a heavy sigh
Not letting judgments escape from my mouth.

I see the pain that rues life for the same
For their families each suffer loss too.
For those seeking revenge or seeking fame
They know not what damage to souls they do.

Children need to come first, not the adverse
In a sinful will that tears life apart.
Bless all who try to obtain a reverse
That fight for God's light that dwells in their heart.

May love spread throughout in pink healing light
That peace may finally dwell with insight.

And Still...

And still,
Time freezes
As you capture me
Within your furtive eyes

And still,
Standing captive
In the core of humanity
The world continues unaware

And still,
Between you and I
There is adoring fervor
An undeniable intertwining

And still,
You ignore my flaws
My reluctance in revealing
An open austere vulnerability

And still,
You persevered
Finding a way inside
Granting me the purest of love

One Day

One day, I will be happy...
i will love
i will be at peace
i will stop crying
i will not hurt
One day, I will walk with you...
we will talk softly
we will hold hands
we will love
we will cry together
One day, things will be okay...
no one will die
no one will cry
no one will hurt
no one will be alone
One day, things will be clear...
we all will understand
we all will share our light
we all will be found
One day, all questions will be answered...
our hearts will be resolved
our minds will be at peace
our persons rested
one day..

Seasons of the Bhodi

"Mahakavi...tell me, what is the body?"

'It is: the candle desiring flame;
    it is:  the universe self-contained;
it is: the realization of love,
          through the gratitude of pain.'

"Mahakavi...will you let me know,
what is the nature of the soul?"

             'It is: the unwritten page;
         it is: the empty picture frame;
it is: the absence of the self,
through the charity of change.'

Sun Stare

I stared long into the sun,
and got blinded by the truth
My carnal eyesight was burned away
as I descended down from atop my roof
Now I walk among you sightless,
yet seeing everything
Being blinded by the truth is most liberating
Come all ye children,
sons and daughters of the Most High
Lift your heads to the sky
and open your eyes
Gaze long into the sun,
let abundant light come in from this sun stare
Then go forth, now color blind,
revealing the nature of God to whomsoever everywhere

Poetic Bliss

Look deep into my eyes
and take me by the hand
I will guide you to a place
and show you secrets hid within
Let the mist consume you
as you swim beneath the fall
For it flows from my soul
where you have heard my whisper call
Feel the breeze upon your face
as each breath I breathe for you
See the teardrops upon the rose
that fade like morning dew
Close your eyes and taste the kiss
that has awaited you so long
And open your ears to melody
as there is magic in the song
Feel my touch upon your skin
and the softness of this kiss
It's now time to take a trip
into sweet poetic bliss

Love Is

Love is my passion
Love is my creed
Love is my touchstone
Love is all that I need.

Without love there is no reason
for each new day, new year, new season.

From the day we are born
Till the day we depart
Love is there buried deep in our hearts.

So starting today, lets make a pact
That love will decide the way that we act.
Give love to your neighbors, brother and kin
And then maybe more love will start to come in.

The Will

When I am gone
When no more I deface the whitest page
With scrawls
Will you keep my words as my total wage
Withdrawn from life's bank?

I have nothing else to leave
Indigent all my life
Invested nothing but my love
Imparted through my words.
I give you all.

Let no silence or blindness break it
Little fragile flower
Lean your tongue against it
Ladening taste with desires
Love templed in a tender tropic song.

My Rainbow

You call me your pot of gold
at the end of the rainbow
what about looking at
where the rainbow began

At warm loving colors
of yellow and green
cool and fresh orange and blue
the colors I see when I look at you

Colors of arch
half of my ole heart
a picture completed
by the love that is seeded

Shine bright; Rainbow
Shine bright

Tear In the Hourglass

A tear in an hourglass
so slowly it falls
a sorrow for every dream
that lay shattered against the wall.

So fragile is such a thing
that withers in part
what sadness she brings
in broken heart

Doth do we cringe
bent on broken knee
wounded in love
wounded by thee

Dulled is the sword
that had swung with such force
splintered is the shield
but the heart injured worse

All heroes are slain
killed in passionate war
every heart breaks
to love nevermore
