Sure not a snotty type but love classical music It's so soothing and extremely hypnotic Though not a snob Mozart makes me throb If you could see me now, I'm wearing a tunic

If Only He Would Go Away

We rather wish that someone would
     lead him to a tree.
They can be so useful
     for life and death.
He might look more elegant
     from a distance.

But this one decides to join us
     in this bar,
sits at our table, displaying
     his filthy fingernails,
his rather snotty tissues, sniffing,
     so audibly, so blatantly.

Each half-hour or so he has a smoke,
     so leaves the room,
permitting us to take
     a deeper breath,
drawing somewhat cleaner air
     into our lungs.

Ah, who has the courage to say
     please go away -
though it would be better to use
     some choice language?
But all we do is sit -
     just hope, ho hum!

My Fickle Love

You nuzzle up to me, rub on my leg.
I pay no attention as you cry and beg.

I look away, continue my chore.
You come back again, crying still more.

Sometimes you want me.
Sometimes you care less.
My head is 'a spinnin
From all this distress.

When I want to hold you
You run like the devil.
Will we ever get
On a good friendship level?

That is my story.
It had to be told.
My love's a hungry kitty cat
Sitting by his empty bowl.

Once his little belly's fat
He's happy and content.
He'll look my way, then walk away
He's quite a snotty gent!

Toddler

There’s glue in my plug sockets
Chewed pasta in my pockets

Lollipops always stuck under my shelf
Oh my love, you are a naughty little elf

Crayons and paint colour the dogs bed
And again, today, another bruise on your head

Where, this time, have you put my other shoe?
And please stop throwing the lid for the glue

Yet again, there’s a dinosaur in your potty
And why is your face constantly snotty?

The rubbish bins will never be your toys
Oh my gosh, the wonderful wildness of boys

Bending down one more time, will mean I won’t get up
Oh my darling, you are a mucky little pup

Gobble Gobble

Why-why in God's name were you unleashed
time and again to rape our community
empty eyed mug shot
walking time bomb filled with hateful snot

...and the judges of these mad men
sitting in their sterilized cloud
high above the martyrs and maggots
broken cinder block sanctuaries,
giving this ogre a twenty fifth bow

I pray that "it" soils your cloud
sprays its snotty seed over your pristine
sends you tumbling into our humble community
devours everything you cherish and love
drags you down a bloody path
of your poor judgments
happy thanksgiving
